haha string receiver XD still good vid and nice guitar, i am thinking of putting a bigsby on an epp 1275 and thought that it would be abit hard on such a big guitar.. so thx for that now i have something similar to compare it too. is it easy to play?

Wow.. this looks a lot like my bros old guitar. His had some guys name on it so he painted the whole guitar in jet black-wicked cool! he also cut out the top part so a floyd rose whammy would fit- way better than the old one in my opinion.

It came with an amp too.. kinda looked like an old suit case though, so we tore off the bumper strips and painted it the same wicked-jetblack...sounds tits crancked up!!

My guitar was painted black and had a Floyd on it before I restored it.

It took about five years for the little neck to grow back.

Wow ... so Bigsby put in the truss rod from behind ... so Fender quite possibly copied that idea aswell as the headstock ... so they have a film of Grady Martin ... I hope they tell his sons. Is that guitar made after Grady's .. did JB buy it because of seeing Grady or what's the story guys ? I am fascinated.

From what I know Fender was sued for the headstock infringement by Bigsby.

The trussrod on a Bigsby is not installed from the back.

Bigsby would laminate his neck so they would not twist and warp,the trussrod was installed just like a Gibson,before the fingerboard was glued.

We never claimed it was Grady Martin's guitar...

As far as the laminated neck ..Some Bigsby guitars have the walnut laminate and some don't.

The J.B. Thomas double neck has the walnut laminate while the Grady Martin double has not.

I inherited something very similar to yours except it has only one set of strings. It says Bigsby on the tip and it has lots of dots on the wood. The box looks the same too. I plugged it into the Speaker and after about a minute it started making a loud noise so I shut it off. Do you know what it is worth? I want to put it on Craigslist.
