Hi, great video. It helped me a lot. I was wondering if you knew how to do the polaroid picture effect, like in the Kanye west "through the wire" video
copying the scale to all the clips can be done easier and more quickly by setting one clip, marking it, command c, select the other clips and press option v. Now select whichever atribute you want to apply to your clips, in this case motion.
It really depends on the kind of look that you want. The look that you see on professional films usually comes from the color correction. If you want a serious/thriller style you usually pull more greens, greys, and blues. If you want a happier setting you will add a little orange and green. But again - it depends on the kind of style you want.
Thanks, Zach. You are the man and run a nice site and service. Is there a way to, with certainty, place the nine clips in precise spaces in the canvas? In Motion, they have the cross hair function but, I don't think in FCP. Yours ends up looking very nice, and I am sure the manual placing serves us well, but I was just wondering if there is a way...THANKS.
As far as I know - FInal Cut doesn't have any grids like Motion does. But if you hold down SHIFT, it will snap along the lines of your other clips, but it's more like an invisible parameter. That would be great though for FCP.
I'm not sure, but you could manually mess around with the center and scale of each video clip to get them precisely where you want. (Example if you want the video to line up horizontally make the first coordinate of the first video the same as the first coordinates of the second video.
((260,---)(260,---)) the just tweak the virticle axis until you get it where you want.
Hi Final Cut King
Great tutorial! How do you do the little white line that zooms across the screen before the mom first shows up?
Thank you!

Can you do like a movie effect? I'm making a 40 minute movie for my Video productions class and I want a nice movie filter.

Hey - what kind of movie filter? Like an old fashioned one?
FinalCutKing 2 years ago
No, like a filter new, modern movies would use.

Thanks for your help, I love you videos. I'll refer to your older video about the color corrector.
