My older brothers got this set when they were kids, and after they "outgrew LEGO" (Which makes no sense!) they gave it to me... Or rather, the parts they hadn't lost. I think I'm gonna try to grab this off of eBay one of these days so I can complete it...
I can clearly remember getting this for Christmas way back in 1986. I tore the paper away and couldn't F-ing believe it. One of the best Christmas presents ever. :)
my god thats a big ship you could fit like 10 figures in there you just know lego would never build something that big or as asthetically pleasing as the cosmic fleet explorer again.
TubaFrog, after watching this I'd say we are indeed "Best Friends Forever". Your music choice couldn't be better, as the 6985 is some serious heavy metal, or should I say "heavy plastic".
Somehow I knew you would be up to this challenge. There just seems to be no limit as to what that magnificent program of yours can do. I just need to get me one of those, not only your program, but also a 6985 set...
The LEGOs before were creative now they just copy all the stuff from movies....
Thumbs up if you agree....

Lego was bullshit all from 1996 to 2007. Now im seeing a rapid change as Lego are starting to go back ot their old type of sets and bricks.

That was my favorite space set as a kid. Awesome video. Took me back to the joy of building it . . . in 1:15.
