I'm 18 and i LOVE the Priest version of this song. I've listened to it since i was a baby. This is my first time hearing this song. my dad said this version sucks, so i come here thinking its gunna totally suck, but boy was i wrong! this is beautiful! :) i still love the Priest version better; more badass :) but this, this is beautiful :)

I was introduced to this song by Judas Priest when I was a teen; 20 years ago (oh my, I think I am old now).

I only heard Joan's original version about a month ago, for the first time and this version sends chills down my spine.

I would never try or attempt to say one is better than another. I listen to either version, and I feel nostalgic for very different reasons.

Priest's version reminds me of being a teen listening to this song with friends.
