Thanks for all the comments. I never expected so many views and comments on this video. Although I'm not a big fan of Chandni Shah as a poet or songwriter, I think she was probably the only female poet of our mother's generation who wrote about the life and pains of other woman of her generation no matter how mundane or male dominated it was. Of course I'm not including Parijaat here, her being more of a story/novel writer. There is simply no comparison between Parijaat and Chandni Shah.

Thanks to all the comments. As dablauemer pointed the song and the images of this video is certainly sweet reminiscence for someone who grew up in the 80s Kathmandu like myself. The song was penned by Chandini Shah the late queen which reflects the lives of women of her generation like my own mother.
