Beautiful, the only thing missing had to been maybe a subtle fade-in of "Press Start" after you show the full title for a bit, I would of probably thought I was playing some amazing 3D rendition of the original.

Personally, as much as I love the Mother series, I don't want a Mother 4. Itoi said himself that when you produce more and more, it loses it's meaning. The Mother series has effected my heart and I want it to stay like that. There's no crying until the end.

It kinda drags on too long near the end. Maybe you could lengthen it out in the beginning and make it interesting (what to do to NOT make it interesting, watching the MOTHER logo for half a minute) and have the music end with the MOTHER logo in full view for a few seconds and then just fade to black.

Well, I was thinking a 3D game remake intro - 3D like Mother 3 on 64.

It could be done. You could extract the character models from Melee/Brawl, and just mimicking the map directly and just translating it into 3D would be easy since so many things use the same colours/sprites. I think it would be acceptable to make different houses and such look different, however, so there'd be a lot of room for artistic interpretation.
