  • Thank you so much for posting this video. You take it very slow to make sure the people who are watching can actually see what you are doing. You also stop and explain why you change your technique and why. AND your daisy is actually VERY pretty unlike some of the other videos on here. I never realized how easy it was to make daisies. thank you!

  • this is real cool i also wanted to know if u cud show how to make homem ade choclate toppers

  • @heenatec I willl put it on my to do list. I am not sure when I can tape. I have a few things already tape I need to add.

  • @Mickey91105 I never tasted the leche filling. I do have the recipe for suspiro, I need to find it.

  • Very good tutorials but would be sooooo much better if you would point the camera to your work instead trying to make sure your face is included in the video. Not to be blunt but we don't need to see your face the whole time, wie need to see what you are trying to teach us. .... just saying :))

  • @MzBarracuda Those where my first tutorials..if you see the new ones they are just my hands..I am no expert in video so I am learning as I go..

  • Most informative on YouTube ! Excellent

  • @10lilkitty Thanks!

  • @tonedna1 lol your welcome :)

  • Hi Edna!! Your videos are extremely helpful and your decorations are amazing. I'm new to this though. i only recently discovered royal icing and dont have time to find the stuff. I am actually the groom, and am attempting to make our cake as a surprise. Any tips on making the daisy with whipped icing? I cant seem to get it down. Thank you :)

  • @wesmck20 It would have to be piped directly on the cake. More difficult but not impossible

  • @tonedna1 Thank you all very much for the tips. i made the cake and it didn't turn out too bad. However, transportation turned into a complete disaster and the cake endured heat, rain, and the elements. Fortunately my bride was glowing with joy at the idea of me making our cake. Lol. So, thanks again and best wishes.

  • @wesmck20 I used to be intimidated by royal icing, but it really is amazing stuff! Also, it's not that hard at all to make. One way is just mixing egg whites with powdered sugar until you have the right consistency. Note, this should not be given to small children or pregnant women as it has raw egg whites. I know Wilton has a recipe on their can of meringue powder. I'm sure you can get the hang of it if you're doing the cake anyway! Good luck!

  • @wesmck20 Sorry weather didnt help with your delivery!

  • thankyou for your generous help......god bless you

  • Hi Edna, can I use any printer to print ediable pint ( as long as I have the ediable ink and sugar printer) or I need a specific printer?

    Edna :)

  • Hi Edna, Love your tetorials!!!!!

I will love to know how do you do the diamond pattrn on the fondant cakes. I'm a beginer and will love some instruction and cannot find it.Thank you so much!

    P.S: your website is amazing!!

  • I use a diamond impression mat. It works well over fondant or crusting buttercream. But there are cutters that leave the impression or you can do it manually.

    Edna :)

  • Was wondering what tip you would surgest for the small petals close to the centre of the flower like on a real gerbera (not the very centre) but the centre little petals, sorry if this sound confusing it might be easier to look at a photo of a real gerbera then you will see what I mean Thank you, some much for you help P.S I am doing my very first cake order for this friday all is spot on except the flowers, I got one of those flower cutters they're just nasty to use & dont work anyways :-)~

  • you can use a 101 for the smaller petals.

    Edna :)

  • Wow Thank you so much, I have been looking for someone to show a piped Gerbra and this is the closest I have found THANK YOU.

Would be able to show a large Gerbra being done ? Pretty Please Pretty Lady, Please dont take that the wrong way My husband and I think you are a very stunning attactive lady (and talented of course)...... : ) Thankx Samantha..........GERBRA please

  • If you want a gerbera daisy in a bigger size for royal Icing, is basically the same just make it bigger and add more layers..

  • Edna, can it be made with your buttercream icing since it is so stiff. Or can you make the buttercream icing more stiff to use it for this. OR must you use royal icing?
