Thank you so much for posting this video. You take it very slow to make sure the people who are watching can actually see what you are doing. You also stop and explain why you change your technique and why. AND your daisy is actually VERY pretty unlike some of the other videos on here. I never realized how easy it was to make daisies. thank you!
this is best daisy flower video . Thank you. got to learn lot from you. pls keep on puting new videos n tips to help decorating cake eassy. thanks once again.
hi Edna i soooooooo love all your videos....questions.... do u know how to make dominican frosting n the leche filling???? if so please help me thx i wish one day i would be able to bake a cake like u ;)
Very good tutorials but would be sooooo much better if you would point the camera to your work instead trying to make sure your face is included in the video. Not to be blunt but we don't need to see your face the whole time, wie need to see what you are trying to teach us. .... just saying :))
i really like your videos and i have learnt a lot! but, would you please point your webcam a little bit lower so we can better see what you are doing? :-)
Hi Edna!! Your videos are extremely helpful and your decorations are amazing. I'm new to this though. i only recently discovered royal icing and dont have time to find the stuff. I am actually the groom, and am attempting to make our cake as a surprise. Any tips on making the daisy with whipped icing? I cant seem to get it down. Thank you :)
@tonedna1 Thank you all very much for the tips. i made the cake and it didn't turn out too bad. However, transportation turned into a complete disaster and the cake endured heat, rain, and the elements. Fortunately my bride was glowing with joy at the idea of me making our cake. Lol. So, thanks again and best wishes.
@wesmck20 I used to be intimidated by royal icing, but it really is amazing stuff! Also, it's not that hard at all to make. One way is just mixing egg whites with powdered sugar until you have the right consistency. Note, this should not be given to small children or pregnant women as it has raw egg whites. I know Wilton has a recipe on their can of meringue powder. I'm sure you can get the hang of it if you're doing the cake anyway! Good luck!
where did u get the tracing daisy whatever, the wax paper, and where can i get a flower former? please let me know im a beginner and hav lots 2 learn but thanks 4 helping.
thank you very much for replying me i really appricate that. Do you think you would be able to make a video on how to make ruffle border and Ruffle Gl? i hope you could i really need to but it on my brother wedding cake. thank you
Hi i really like your videos. could you please make vedio on how to make ruffle border please, i need to learn it for my brother wedding cake? Pluse i dont like butter cram can i use whipped cream to ice the cake? Thank you very much for sharing your videos with us
I will love to know how do you do the diamond pattrn on the fondant cakes. I'm a beginer and will love some instruction and cannot find it.Thank you so much!
I use a diamond impression mat. It works well over fondant or crusting buttercream. But there are cutters that leave the impression or you can do it manually.
Was wondering what tip you would surgest for the small petals close to the centre of the flower like on a real gerbera (not the very centre) but the centre little petals, sorry if this sound confusing it might be easier to look at a photo of a real gerbera then you will see what I mean Thank you, some much for you help P.S I am doing my very first cake order for this friday all is spot on except the flowers, I got one of those flower cutters they're just nasty to use & dont work anyways :-)~
Wow Thank you so much, I have been looking for someone to show a piped Gerbra and this is the closest I have found THANK YOU.
Would be able to show a large Gerbra being done ? Pretty Please Pretty Lady, Please dont take that the wrong way My husband and I think you are a very stunning attactive lady (and talented of course)...... : ) Thankx Samantha..........GERBRA please
Edna, can it be made with your buttercream icing since it is so stiff. Or can you make the buttercream icing more stiff to use it for this. OR must you use royal icing?
Just have to say that i'm adicted to your tutorials! :-)
Keep the good work going and i will keep watching your videos all day long, it's fantastic how you can teach us in this simple but yet so professionally way.
I'm at the biginning of my "career" and i will have to say that you make me wanna continue learning- it's not that herad to begin at the bottom and be better for each day/flower/cake!
Edna: Thank you for sharing your talent. You are beautiful and generous. I have learned so much and appreciate your clear and well presented help. God bless you.
Cuando coji los dos cursos de Wilton no me salieron ninguna de las flores, la paciencia no es mi amiga... pero tengo que practicarla, esta demostracion me gusto mucho, pude ver mejor como se hace la margarita. Thank you.

It depends on the recipe for the whipped cream, but it might be too soft for a wedding cake.

Hi Edna, can I use any printer to print ediable pint ( as long as I have the ediable ink and sugar printer) or I need a specific printer?

Yes, you have to have one that is compatible with the edible cartridges. But make sure is used only for edibles.

If you want a gerbera daisy in a bigger size for royal Icing, is basically the same just make it bigger and add more layers..

After they dry completely in an open area, you can store them in a dry place for indefinitively..

You got to let it dry for at least 24 hours, maybe more. Is supposed to be done in Royal Icing.
