  • Good lift, man. Thing that I didn't agree with was, he did 10 reps FINE. When he went for 11 and didn't get it, the spotter should have just racked it and not gone for the 12th rep. Basically what I'm saying is, he hit MUSCLE FAILURE at 11, He needed a spotter at 11 reps, going for 12 was not necessary.  Nice lift tho ....

    do some grip-strength training to help your hands remain stable with lifts in the 400's. as for getting it off the ground, roughneckasian had a great tip: interrupt deadlift sets to keep good form and prevent injury. i got to 415lb for 2 reps before id feel dizzy at the bottom of the second rep and i was on low carbs for an entire semester. buy some gatorade mix, fuel up before your workouts, and dont be afraid to build up to it man!

    when you lock out your arms it takes some of the stress off of your arms so not locking out increases the strength and stress on your arms thats impressive to do that without locking your arms.
