Rachael Ray has a video about making this. What a joke. She starts with store-bought plain hummus, then adds roasted red peppers out of a jar. She calls this "dressing it up a little". "Then you can say it's totally yours!" Ya right.
I made this according to your video by the way--roasting the peppers under the broiler is fun and doesn't take long. Even cooked dried chickpeas instead of canned. Result was terrific--gone quickly.
Rachael's right about one thing--tahini is a little expensive.
Might be nice to set a couple of small slices of the red pepper aside, to use as garnish at the end. The color is so great and it gives a visual hint of what's in the hummus.
