somehow ... it reminds me ... with the musik ... the movement of the form ... and your video fx in ... old final fantasy x ... when yuna does the cleansing of all the spirits dancing with a weapon meant to heal the living performing art with passion
and except for the healing part ^^ its kind of the same ;) isnt it =)
@TPRoach Thank you, :D I know about the flow of the sword because I've been training with taiji jian for 2 years and 7 years in kung fu. Jian has always been my favorite weapon and I want to learn this form because I've always enjoyed watching Xianghua from Soul Calibur perform it.
Did someone teach you that form or did you find it? I'm trying to look for something that shows the movements but no luck. I really want to learn the form >.<
thanks yeah much to work on.. quite chuffed though as this was off the back of a dislocated knee. should have rested longer but this was the last weekend i had free to film in this place^
WOW! The movements! The flow! it was BEAUTIFUL! And now i can see that, you are no longer handeling a sword.. The sword is a part of you! That is FANTASTIC to see! :D Greetings from Norway!^^,
Oh my gosh, you done it again. Right when I feel I'm almost about to get to your level you do it again. Jeeze I love you man, always surprise me. It's nice to see your doing more than a Katana, Wushu has always fascinated me, I guess I just don't want to get out of my comfort zone. It be amazing to train under you for awhile just wow. Good timing with the music and everything just wow.
There's this heavy indian straight sword called 'Khanda'... it was used mainly for the last effort of attack before the enemy armies captured their territory. Have you tried it?
Editing & timing to the music was really good, fluidity of your movements was exceptional, & the control of your sword was amazing...as always. You're so sure of the way you handle a sword. Its plain to see that you handle it as if it were a part of you. So much so that while watching, u can actually fail to notice it because it doesn't seem forced in any way. Its hard to explain. Watching what you're doing is one thing. Watching HOW you're doing it & recognizing the effort it takes is another.
I can see what you mean by the form being so damn difficult though...kudos for remembering it all! I never was one for kata's, though I can do them in Karate and Tae Kwon Doe.
But you still display an exceptional level of fluidity, and a huge understanding to the art itself. I didn't know you actually studied in a dojo ^^
3 words. WTF. ur so crazy with a sword. i know about sword styles and trust me people. he is right. the 6th level of dan is very dificult. very well performed. y arent u on Americas Got talent
HOly Fucking Shit!!!!!!!! You are Da mAn! Great editing, great music, great moves. Beauty, fluidity showing inner and outer strength. I could really feel each move and transition. This was one of the best lessons I have received in a long time and it was all non verbal.
That was a beautiful exhibit of form and skill!
