  • That was a beautiful exhibit of form and skill!

  • @MrNeonIce

    Thank you MrNeonIce :)

  • You have to be the best swordsmen EVER! how many styles do you train?? your vids are the best!!

  • does anyone know if wudan jian technique is the same as wushu jian techniques?

  • Beautiful =3

somehow ... it reminds me ... with the musik ... the movement of the form ... and your video fx in ... old final fantasy x ... when yuna does the cleansing of all the spirits dancing with a weapon meant to heal the living performing art with passion

and except for the healing part ^^ its kind of the same ;) isnt it =)

    thanks for uploading

  • @TPRoach Thank you, :D I know about the flow of the sword because I've been training with taiji jian for 2 years and 7 years in kung fu. Jian has always been my favorite weapon and I want to learn this form because I've always enjoyed watching Xianghua from Soul Calibur perform it.

  • Did someone teach you that form or did you find it? I'm trying to look for something that shows the movements but no luck. I really want to learn the form >.<

  • Beautiful. Powerful. Well done yet again, Roachy. Be well!

  • @nyarlethotep thanks mate

  • splendid flow..wonderous form..although you did express a bit or stiffness in the joints but im jusst a novice so what can i say..amazing!

  • thanks yeah much to work on.. quite chuffed though as this was off the back of a dislocated knee. should have rested longer but this was the last weekend i had free to film in this place^

  • that's lovely...but you need a more dramatic outfit..maybe something with a cape, or some geisha sandals

    just kidding

    very nice job

  • What song is that I love the vid and it just flows with it so well ^_^

  • Song is The Prophet by X Ray Dog.

  • thanks ^_^

  • ^ ^ the more i look at this the more i want to learn wushu, its a gorgeous martial art most definatly

  • very artistic tom love the music who is it by?

do you do any escrima type stuff or kalli

  • WOW! The movements! The flow! it was BEAUTIFUL! And now i can see that, you are no longer handeling a sword.. The sword is a part of you! That is FANTASTIC to see! :D Greetings from Norway!^^,

  • @Fredricoillos thanks again Fredricoillos :)

  • lost for words always wanted to learn this but can neva find anywhere near enough that teaches and trains this stuff

  • Oh my gosh, you done it again. Right when I feel I'm almost about to get to your level you do it again. Jeeze I love you man, always surprise me. It's nice to see your doing more than a Katana, Wushu has always fascinated me, I guess I just don't want to get out of my comfort zone. It be amazing to train under you for awhile just wow. Good timing with the music and everything just wow.

  • There's this heavy indian straight sword called 'Khanda'... it was used mainly for the last effort of attack before the enemy armies captured their territory. Have you tried it?

  • Editing & timing to the music was really good, fluidity of your movements was exceptional, & the control of your sword was amazing...as always. You're so sure of the way you handle a sword. Its plain to see that you handle it as if it were a part of you. So much so that while watching, u can actually fail to notice it because it doesn't seem forced in any way. Its hard to explain. Watching what you're doing is one thing. Watching HOW you're doing it & recognizing the effort it takes is another.

  • Exceptional form Tom!

I can see what you mean by the form being so damn difficult though...kudos for remembering it all! I never was one for kata's, though I can do them in Karate and Tae Kwon Doe.

But you still display an exceptional level of fluidity, and a huge understanding to the art itself. I didn't know you actually studied in a dojo ^^

    Stay Safe my Brother

  • Hey Tom I am at a loss for words. Thx once again for sharing this. I thouroughly enjoyed it.

  • OMG always smth new and perfect !

  • TP... total inspiration man. Nice flow... definitely water... Keep em coming... totally enjoy ur vids... Cheers.

  • I diddn't know you did Taiji?

You prefer learning the Kung Fu(wushu) straight sword over the Katana? how long have you been practicing wushu then?

  • You have some of my fav vids ever, and once again total badass display of martial arts.

  • Wow, Roachie is doing Wushu, kinda fresh breeze innit? It really awesome ;]

  • i love how he uses a real sword while hes doing this. it really shows ur confidence

  • Gorgeous flow as usual XD That was a very nice piece you worked together with the editing and the music.

  • 3 words. WTF. ur so crazy with a sword. i know about sword styles and trust me people. he is right. the 6th level of dan is very dificult. very well performed. y arent u on Americas Got talent

  • because he lives in the uk... so it would be Britains Got Talent...

  • your best performance ever!

Just one question...what software did you use?

  • HOly Fucking Shit!!!!!!!! You are Da mAn! Great editing, great music, great moves. Beauty, fluidity showing inner and outer strength. I could really feel each move and transition. This was one of the best lessons I have received in a long time and it was all non verbal.

  • Outstanding! You're truely a dedicated swordsman, Tom. Well done...your form is incredible!

  • I'm blown away. The editing was great, what kind of editing program do you have.

  • more about editing skills than program i guess...

  • Beautiful. Movement, music, editing, all of it, just amazing.

  • love it, great video, like what you've done with the editing process as well. what video editor do you use?

  • first

  • Awesome display.
