Matt don't listen to the weirdos who just thrive on putting people down, yes it might not be everyones taste but nor is Marmite. it did sound awesome, stranegly it sounded different from the centre of the track. The noise that's making it sound like a rocket is the tyres rippling on the sticky track, that's the most promenent sound i heard (i'm the fat git in the red t-shirt and hi viz), i guess the exhausts were aiming the sound outwards and upwards. fantastic time for a first run.

@chrismido The speed readout is merely showing speed over distance (i.e. the AVERAGE), not measuring the speed as it crosses the line.

@rdwill999 That 168mph reading at the end is the speed the vehicle is doing as it crosses the finish line. If you watch more drag racing, you would know. The losing car can finish with a higher top speed. It happens a lot.

@wgmotorsport I can tell you right now it won't be the fastest IF Larry Larson shows up. His Nova/Chevy II ran in 6.96@ 209 a few years back, driving it 1200 miles to and from the event.

@harleynog its not knocked off the spot? lol, its still the fastest production streel legal car, however there are obviously non street legal cars faster, and a few non full production cars faster, the hennessey venom gt might be faster? (hasnt beeen tested for top speed yet as far as i know) but its production is so low, i wouldnt call it a production car

@donbalauro No where near a Veyron, has extremely short gearing and only 3 gears! Acceleration stakes the Veyrons fucked, but this has shit aerodynamics and therefore will do (only!) 200 at a push. It's still brilliant, Just not built for stop speed :)
