That's one of those 'touchy' subjects that goes WAY back to '57 when Eddie Cochran put a Gibson pickup in his Gretsch. Only Gretsch pickups have 'That Great Gretsch Sound'. The neck pickup is a P90, which was designed by Gibson. ;)
