  • @multisnootyundead that's pretty surprising since you obviously need it yourself...

  • That chick is hot.

  • Perhaps Youtube is not the best place to post info about Autism. There are too many haters on here and it might be more productive to leave them to their trolly ways.

  • What a loon.

  • I know this is not the most professional piece in the world, but there is PLENTY of time for you to learn. Please keep working on this, present with the same kind of fun and laughter and you will be fine. I am a Mom of a 5 year old with high-functioning autism and I am involved with many autistic kids of all ages and all over the spectrum...you have no idea how helpful this is going to be...I look forward to having the videos rolling down my facebook wall!

  • Um...Steve312...you didn't really comment about this film, but instead about your disappointment that you can't have a girl like this. MOST men can't have a girl like this and it is NOT because of her looks. She is trying to help here...be nice!

  • Alex in this video just proves the point that AS should just be minimized and be forgotten. Its a sick disease. The fact he needs a promper, proves the point we need less human robots. They have no feelings. They should just live in their parents basement while traditional ASDs should get out of the basements and enjoy life.

  • Asperger Syndrome really hurts me as an autistic that isn't tied to AS. Look at this video.

The chick is your speech therapist stereotype where she'll work with sped kids, but since shes so hot, her attitude comes off as "you can look but you can't touch". She prolly has a hot b/f finance who is normal person. We will never get a hot chick as a g/f. It's really sexist in my opinion, and never mind I bet some superintendants are bunch of pigs hiring these hotties.

  • Excellent! Very good and helpful information. I think you both did a great job. I wouldn't have noticed that you were looking at a teleprompter (if indeed you are) if others before me had not brought it up, and in my opinion, it doesn't detract from the video to any significant degree. Both of you come across as being very sincere and friendly. And, the parts of the video where you converse with each other, offer advice, and clown around (meaning you, Alex) are very natural and entertaining.

  • Ooo. Gotta work on memorizing the teleprompter. :)

  • @cosmicorder2 "fuck you sandiago"

  • Whilst you're on to a good thing with these vids, this could have been done much better. Many of the problems have been mentioned already, i might include; that babe clearly had no idea what you meant by 'faking being social'. Her 'tips' were also very vague and not helpful at all. Things that could be included are conversation starters, what people are expecting to converse about in that particular situation, maybe even how to politely end a conversation in case you start getting too anxious.

  • @BuggZee or what? You'll curse some more on youtube? oh teh noes...

  • @BuggZee whatever, the bottom line is your claims about his financials are still completely unfounded.

  • she's hot

  • It's a good idea but err, it could've been realised better. For example, you can tell you're reading the lines from some thing next to the camera. Either LEARN the text first, or, put the text somewhere closer to the camera AND practice looking "spontaneous".

  • @Daaaniellaaa I agree that would be best thing to do for a normal audiance, but has an asperger I admit they could be standing upside down and reading from sheet of paper, it would make no difference to me, for I am not here to see them but to listen if there is something interesting said.

  • @iniudan Well I have Asperger's as well and it would make a difference to me. It sounds fake the way it is now (and I think everyone with AS can notice that, even though it might annoy some more than others - it sure annoys me).

  • @Daaaniellaaa Maybe due that I am a late diagnostic, for no one enforced to look at people when I speak to them until I was like 23 years old, so never really developed care for what people do when they speak for never really looked at them before that. Now I do it to seem less ackward but without much care of what person do, has long has the person not acting out of the usual personality, if does it seem like talking to an unknown person to me.

  • @iniudan Alllright, well, I was only diagnosed late as well, only last year at age 18, but I guess it's different for all of us.

  • This is absolutely hilarious. You can tell this speech pathologist doesn't want to be here. Honestly, Alex an actor! haha I laughed my ass off when I heard that! Stop making vidoes, they suck!

  • @BuggZee stop trolling communities you supposedly left behind over three years ago, its lame and that kind of behavior is the reason that girl you were posting about will always think you're a loser.

  • @pyrokenx How can I leave a community I was never a part of to begin with?

  • @BuggZee perhaps if you gave people a chance to try to assist you with your questions/issues and didnt make yourself impossible to reason with or give advise to you could have been more of a part of it. Just because you didnt want to hear advise from someone who wasnt a teenager at the time, or at least tahts how it appears, and then you wanted your account deleted and (supposedly) left. So the real question I have is why are you here complaining about everything associated with WP?

  • @pyrokenx Dude I was never on wrongplanet. My querrel is with the neuroinsanity movement, which Alex Plank represents, while making money of his WrongPlanet site. I was never a member. I've gone on wrongplanet to check and there was a user who had the same name as me, but we are not the same person.

  • @BuggZee yeah, 'money' hes making, uh huh. I think you are a tad delusional if you think its making him any money with what it costs to keep up... but keep on trolling then if you want to. Sorry I mistook you for someone else in any case.

  • @pyrokenx Yeah, no, it doesn't cost him that much too keep it up. He's being very disingenuous with that. And how am I trolling by calling Alex out on his shit?

  • @BuggZee and I am saying it really does cost him that much. I like how claim you have this amazing insight into his financials when you haven't got a clue.

  • @pyrokenx And also your referring to someone from three years ago? What the fuck?

  • Nice work! One of the suggestions I like to give people with ASDs for big social events such as weddings or family reunions, is to see about having a job to do at the event (if you know the people well enough to arrange it) - such as to help with the food or the guest book, etc.

  • Whoa dude, how did you score that HAWT BABE to co-star in ur vid? :P :P :P

  • Excellent job! You are off to a great start Alex. Keep up the great work.

  • At the end you should have shouted "I'm rick james bitch!"

  • Congratulations on the first video. Hopefully the nerves will shake and you'll relax in the next one.

    Critique:

Question: I hate social situations, they always suck, I would rather avoid them.

Answer given: Go to smaller situations where you feel comfortable.

Technically a valid answer, but not really helpful. I'll demonstrate:

    Question: I'm afraid of heights.

    Answer: Starts with smaller heights.

You need to include coping techniques, tips when you're at such events etc.

  • How do we send questions?

  • @rattlerw you can send them to my youtube account.

  • How do we send questions?

  • Well done. Keep the autism awareness spreading!

  • That was great! Can't wait for the next installment.

  • Good work!

  • It is good you promote awareness of Asperger Syndrome!

  • I really like this video. I hope you do more videos like this.

  • What's the matter with using an Ipod, wearing rose-colored glasses and handing out cards explaining Aspergers? I sure wish I could!

  • Great show, but you need to rehearse a little more before recording ^^
