Another thing: Paul is supposed to be the clear, bell-like tone (switch to a Strat? fantasies) in the song while Kessler's supposed to be the cutting edge guy. However, the added distortion from both makes it an..... interesting effect.

Well, the Jag gives it a more gravelly, distorted sound, which I'm fine with; Paul seems happy with it. However, I think the guy with the Casino (Sam Fogarino? Am I correct?) seems like he's using too much distortion on his part. He's supposed to be the cutting edge in the song. Unfortunately, his distortion does not create this effect.

I like the les paul better, it's got a fatter sound which adds more spirit. Though I reckon it can be just as good with the Jaguar, but I don't think his settings are set to aim for the original sound.

(btw I'm a fender person, I play an american strat.)

the jaguar as funny as it is almost sounds more beefy then his les paul even though the jaguar's only got single coil pickups, they probably have a high output. anyways yeah I agree the jaguar makes the riff sound a tad different but I like it.
