And does the UN know the difference in expenses in Europe and India?The expenses in India is twenty times lesser than Europe and USA.They calculate Poverty based on the income of people and never consider how much they have to spend for living.

India's economy growing rapidly and its because of the large population and they can market their goods to thier big population. Actually as a country India is poor. If you think about India's next door neighbor Bangladesh, 40% bangladeshi population are below proverty line. Though Bangladesh have a small population, it counts as poor country. I didnt write it to offend anyone but the my view.
