  • That was a "Union" connecting rod. Went on strike without local support.

  • fuck it... it`s good, keep drivin it...

  • amazes me how many smart asses comment stupid ass comments when your trying to be serious about a situation sure isnt funny howd that happen im surprised it didnt bust through the block first thats crazy did it still run as well

  • thats pretty dicked

  • your conrod snapped

  • Your V6 is now a V5....

  • whats the problem here

  • seems fine to me

  • one of the chances you take making it faster.

  • those connecting rods normally break right under where the wrist pin goes through or in the middle thats what ive seen anyways

  • why the fuck would turbo a pussy engine?

  • @robby844 let me guess. get a v8? If you dont like the v6 then why comment? Your just wasting your fucking time bashing on v6's videos. So GTFO!

  • @212trooper never said anything about a v-8 why buy an when you can buy a 6.but then again you can buy an 8 that will produce more power than a 6 and burn less fuel as well.

  • @robby844 I'll be taking that comment back then. That is true but what if they want to see how much power a v6 can do before they move to a v8? Like an experiment of some sort. Couldn't hurt (cept the money in your banking account) to try see how much you can actually do. Isnt the V8 more complex than the V6? Dont know much about them lol

  • @212trooper its basically the same but has more parts.the most power ive seen come from a v-6 is 2800 hp.but it was a detroit diesel.most ive seen from a gas is 2200.and that was built buy gale banks.

  • @robby844 damn. never heard that much power from a v6!

  • @212trooper yeah it had twin turbos and a centrifugal super on it tho.the detroit only had twin turbos and injectors

  • @robby844 twin turbo and super? wonder how that works..

  • @212trooper one feeds into the other.it had 68 pounds of boost

  • @robby844 yooooo u trippin :) that simply does not work man, gotta be one or the other :P

  • @03vicBlack HAHAHAHAHA HAHHAHAHA HAHHAHAHA OMG HAHAHHAHA OMG THATS A GREAT ONE NIGGER WHAT WILL YOUR MONKEY ASS COME UP WITH NEXT? WANT PROOF?

    /watch?v=J5XLX7uAcf8

    /watch?v=1aSR5Vd4eRM

omg proved youre ass wrong nigger

  • @robby844 - Guys, hate to tell you, but the two stroke Detroit Diesels were factory supercharged, to provide the pressure needed to force air into the cylinders.... and YES, they were also turbocharged in some applications.... Hot rod guys scavenge the blowers from 6V71s all the time to put on their small and big block V8s...

  • @Alrgc2Air hate to tell you but on detroits they were BLOWERS not supers get it right. tell a detroit tech they are supers and see what happens.and it wasnt used to push air into the cylinders it was used to push the exhaust out of the engine. and dipshit all detroits came with blowers so they were considered N/A (naturally aspirated) and in all reality they were since the pressure was only 5 psi

  • @robby844 - not trying to be a know-it-all here, but first, if the pressure is only 5 psi, then why do people do the fabrication to swap these things onto SBCs and BBCs? Seems like a lot of trouble to get only 5 psi of boost....As to calling me a dipshit, not everyone knows everything. So enlighten me, O, sage... what is the difference between a 5 psi blower and a 20-40 psi supercharger?

  • @Alrgc2Air wow you seriously cant be that retarded can you? the detroit blowers are GEAR drive. the speed of them cant really be changed. the ones they slap pn cars are BELT drive. they can change the size of the pulley to make it under or over driven hence speeding up or slowing it down to blow less or more air. there is your difference. which means you are still a dipshit. you claim not everyone knows everything then why did you open your big fucking mouth and act like you did?

  • @robby844 - Dude, I was simply asking you what the difference was, I was not aware of that difference... I only know that I have read about 6-71 blowers being put on gasser V-8s... I incorrectly assumed that blower=supercharger because of that information.... you don't have to be a dick about it...

  • @Alrgc2Air you can look the difference up.... and obviously i had to be one since you argued the fact

  • @robby844 You should calm down and stop being so butt hurt. He just asked a question.

  • @ROWB0AT really now? you might wanna go back and read how he tried to correct me

  • @robby844 I read it. You're still overreacting.

  • @ROWB0AT go suck a dick you fagot

  • @robby844 You're doing it again. And faggot has two g's.

  • @ROWB0AT dont really care asshole you said i was butt hurt so that rules you as a fag.

  • @03vicBlack two stoke diesels can have both a supercharger and turbos

  • still works

  • lazy good for nothing ROD move your ass

  • @JuanPapaNicolao I think the rod got his hi rpm bail lol

  • broken piston rod dumb ass

  • did you leave the rods stock while running 17 psi?

  • Is that the 4.0?? Fuck, first time seeing a broken 4.0L mustang engine.

  • broken piston rod actually

  • connecting rod

  • broken crank shaft

  • my motor broke 3 rods .., heads where good.. put a hole thru the block.. etc... nothing out of the ordinary of a broke motor..

compression was low . octane was 93.. motor was tuned.. just to much for it that is all..

  • Won't be a broken crank if the front and rear pistons move and the middle doesn't. It'll be a broken connecting rod.

  • @randalljoe512 ahahahhaha. then why are the other 2 pistons still moving?

  • because theres one rod for each cylinder dumbass....

  • note that the comment I replied to stated "broken crank shaft" then he later corrected himself. Get your facts straight before you go trying to correct people. "dumbass...."

  • Poor cologne

  • mmmm bust con rod then

  • I don't think it's supposed to do that...

  • I think it's supposed to do something it's not.

  • damm, why was that? to much power cause of the turbo?, what went wrong with the turbo?

  • 75 shot on top of 17psi ..

  • I take it the rods didn't much like that, haha.

  • ganz einfach, auf der andern bank noch ein pleuel abschneiden, zwei einspritzdüsen abstecken und ne 4 zylinder zündspule anstecken, haha, haste nen V4

  • Better yourself some forged internals, rods first by the looks of things, if your gonna be boostin :o

  • There is probably a reason ssm came out with new billet rods...

  • My brother managed to blow up an LT1 Z28 with a 383 stroker, 9:01 forged pistons, H rods, etc. He did it with a procharger and only 10psi. I think it was already jacked before he bought it however cause the tune or lack there of was WAY wrong.

  • too high compression too, unless he used higher octane

  • He ran 93 + some touline (spelling?) additive. He bought it untuned and was pretty sure it already has soem shit wrong. I think 5 of 8 pistons where broke when he opened it up. It was kaing power though, went through 3 performabuilt transmissions in the time he owned it.

  • Was that the engine that you were running 17psi to in a different video?

If you weren't runnin' forged internals, at least now is the chance, right? I'm also be amazed it lasted like that, with that kind of abuse on stock insides.

If they were forged, ouch! That stings in the wallet a bit.

  • ouch
