People say Wal-Mart puts small businesses out of business, but I actually witnessed the OPPOSITE happening in West Union Ohio, near where I used to live. Everyone was movin' away and closin' down shop UNTIL Wal-Mart came to town. Since WM doesn't carry EVERYTHING people need & want & people sometimes can't stand how huge it is & the crowds, and how generic it is, or low quality Chinese made junk, they go just up the road to their local grocery or whatever to shop.

I used to worry a lot about what other people thought, but the pay sucked!! It is liberating to get to the age where you just don't care!--Lanette
