You boys do realize those are 2.0 liter 911's running in a much lower class, don't you? One would certainly hope a 4.2 liter Jag would reel the lot of them in like so many fish. Had a hard time with the red one at the end, though (Leven's car?).
Perfect gear ratios for this track engine pulls all the way. Nice driving feel sorry for all those little air cooled flat 6 Porkys getting eaten up like that.
Nice. Why are you the lone Jaguar in a sea of Porsches? What kind of rpms are you hitting on the straights? My impression from my Dad's 69 E is that their not really revvy motors, but have gobs of torque.

The E-Type Driver must have seen some oversteer Porsche Wreck in the turns before (raced safe) because the only chance a Heavy Ass Porsche has against the XKE is on the straight, never in tight turns! I have pushed both cars & know the pressure the Porsche Drivers was INTENSE coming up on a turn with a XKE on there ass when they were barely holding there own on the straight away AGHHaa! With the E-Type you Throttle thru the turns. Im working on my 67 & going to start posting vids. Soon;-} Jay

Man , I want to race my E so badly...
I'm slowly doing a semi-race chnage-up on her. This winter she gets long headers and an oil cooler, but will still keep her street tags.
