Wow. I'd forgotten how horrible Fantasia was. Thing is, all the problems surprisingly didn't really bother me as a kid. I remember really loving that game. But watching the review.... Yeah, it sucked! I guess nosatlgia has a way of making stuff from your childhood seem better than it actually was.

who plays sega with their thumbs? Not the best method. I use my three middle fingers for ABC. Castle of Illusion is my favorite Mickey game ever, yes even more than EPIC MICKEY. Mickey Circus was too much like an SNES game, so it has a very Mediocrity/complexity feel to it. Mickey Mania = Blech...I got that lamo for SEGA CD

I remember playing World of Illusion and Mickey's Ultimate Challenge with my best friend growing up they were both really fun. These are the only 2 I have of this series too I'll have to try out Castle of Illusion and Mickey Mania now.

The Simplicity and beauty of Perfect gameplay is what gets me about Castle of Illusion, above all other mickey games. Simple Mouse, Simple attacks, simple but perfect music and sound, Simple yet Creative enemies....It's just simply my favorite Mickey game I have ever played, and I hav played them all. Amazing how far good design can take a simple concept.

I remember hearing about the Fantasia video game and getting so excited about it because Fantasia always has a special place in my heart as it affected my young mind in such a way that it made me decide to become a filmmaker later in life.

I think it's fair to say that Fantasia is a very special movie that really has not been matched

Needless to say, my spirits were crushed and I was torn to pieces when I played it. I just wondered "How could they do this?! This is just a slap to the face!"

Fantasia is the scum of the earth. In my cartridge Mickey's sprite becomes invisible when you jump, which makes the game even more impossible to put up with.

Castle of Illusion is the best Mickey Mouse game and Fantasia is the best sound theme.

I picked up World of Illusion recently and was pleasantly surprised to see that the visuals were the same as Castle of Illusion! Where this game shines is 2 player co-op! It was great playing with my sibling and ironically we just finished the game this weekend! Great video!

Awesome reviews of each of the Mickey games. World of illusion and Castle of Illusions and definitely the best I would say, 2 of my favourite games ever, as well as Land of Illusion on the Master System, and the Master System version of Castle of Illusion as well!

Great reviews ! Oh god , I still have castle of Illusion somewhere, but it could not keep up with the awesomeness of rocketmouse adventures! But on the other side rocketmouse was insanely hard so I ended up playing Castle of Illusion anyway :)Keep it up!

The only Mickey games I've played were World of Illusion, and Great Circus mystery. I only had the genesis as a kid and was SOL of getting either NES or SNES, so it was a perfect alternative to Mario.

I can't really say since I never played the Great Circus Mystery on SNES, but from what I've seen it's just got better graphics and sound.

MM has a good amount, but I'll be going over all of them in my next review :]

Great review/overview of these classics! I love World of Illusion but most of the others are great too. Mickey Mania is a great game. I have it for both the MegaDrive and the PSX. Looking forward to that review!

The only Genesis MM games I've played were Castle of Illusion & Mickey Mania. MM is one of the best Genny games I remember playing.

I used to own a copy of Mickey Mousecapade for the NES. Suffice it to say that there were a lot of problems with that game, but it isn't exactly among the worst NES games I've played (Milon's Secret Castle, Mario Is Missing and X-Men are all far worse).

Yeh, I really wanted to go all out on MM and the time I had left on the video definitely wasn't enough to do the game justice.

Mickey Mousecapade was one of the games I grew up with so I've been able to look by a lot of its problems, since I couldn't throw it in this review I used music from it in the beginning of my review :]
