I fully agree 100% Rescue 911 needs to come back to tv. We also want our kids to learn about emergency rescue too cuz nowadays most of them don't really know. This show could teach them to do so and help save lives too.

The Investigative Discovery channel has a show called "Call 911" It is similar to Rescue 911 in that it shows real 911 calls.

Yes bring it back, the show had a great meaning. How normal people can save lives. In this world we cant afford to do more damage, we need to help each other. As a lifeguard and an EMT in training that is my favorite aspect of both jobs: helping others. Please watch this video and rate it!

Bringing this show BACK will make a big difference in the world and around the US and is long overdue to come out a DVD or on TV. I learned CPR on the sh oand how to dial 911 on it. The show made a big difference beacuse i had to call 911 for something and I thank Rescue 911 for showing me how to do

This show is very important to my career both for self learning and for training scenarios when I am training other firefighters and medics. It would be great to bring the show back, maybe a new host, maybe shatner could host new stories? I know the original producer is Arnold Shapiro. I called the studio once trying to get ahold of old episodes. I was told they are in a vault someplace I forget...

I signed a petition to release Rescue 911 onto DVD. I hope there will be another petition to bring newer episodes to CBS since that is where it use to air before reruns aired on either the original Family Channel, Oddesey network, Hallmark channel, and/or Discovery Health Channel. I know there are plenty of true stories out there that can be reenacted and shown to the home audience who watch television, and let them know what can happen anytime, anywhere.

in segment 5 of #102 of Rescue 911 the animated fire truck has a siren, thus if there's a 2008 version of rescue 911 the animated rescue vehicles would be more animated and have sound when they return from a commercial., by the way you can see segment 5 on here by beatlemoe.

Yeah to bringing back Rescue 911. Aired till '96, but that's ok. I only watched through '94, it was that Swedish documentary thing.

It wasn't that good in the 1994-1995 season, but I thought the last season (1995-1996) was as good as the early seasons.

The last season had more unique situations, like the python attack, the library hostage incident, the tree root trap, the Lassie dog saving the baby, the semi container falling on a car, the man getting his hand stuck in a safe, a boy getting attacked by a lizard, a paraglider falling from the sky and snagging the gondola line by chance.

The repeated situations were not overplayed, or were situations that were always interesting (like crimes, people getting stuck, hiking accidents).

I think that Rescue 911 may have gotten an 8th season had the 7th season not aired sporadically and out of its normal timeslot. Rescue 911 went on hiatus in the fall of 1995, which may have led people to believe it was already cancelled. There were a lot of memorable stories, but I think a lot of people missed out on them because they didn't know the show was still on.

yes because let me tell you some things that happened to me I was born with spina bifida thus they could make a 911 segment showing an ambulance transporting a baby to the hospital, Have you ever seen #107 of that show in the san francisco neo-natal docu it shows two babies born both premature, also I suffered a grandmal seizure at a parade which by the way needed an ambulance this took place on memorial day, thus there should be a Memorial themed episode.
