no one know's why someone takes his or her life.. only god know's !... i grew to know eddie graham, thru wrestling revue magazine, and st. louis wrestling tv show, during the summer months.. when we saw florida wrestling. he sent sam munchnick jack brisco, pak-song.. ect.. god bless the graham family
Eddie Graham was one of the greatest examples that a young boy could ask for back in the 1960s. He totally exemplified the concepts of honesty & fair-play, both in & out of the ring. I'd seen him wrestle at the Armory but met him only once---when our church purchased his `Eddie Grahams Youth Ranch` back in the early 70s. He came out to finalize the deal & was immediately swarmed by other boys wanting an autograph. I remember that he was a mountain-of-a-man. Even today he still is to me.
Eddie Graham and Gordon loomed large in my life as a kid. Me and my friends would watch every week and hang on Gordon's word. Eddie was more an elder stateman when I was watching but he still wrestled, esp. with his son Mike. Other wrestlers like Dusty Rhodes would sing his praises as the originator ocf this or that move. Wrestling was huge in Tampa and I got to go down to the Armory a few times to se matches. Made growing up a lot more fun.

The truth be known Eddie Graham was a degenerate who was into the pornographic business, and would often have hookers come and take care of the wrestlers in the back.He was also known for trying to intentionally hurt young wrestlers. He was not the nice guy you think or hear he was.
Well thanks for shitting on the guy, Ya know....Most Promoters from that era where not perfect. To be honest some would say they had there "Demons" but all in all Eddie had his. And the poor guy did himself in the end from it. So if your gonna shit on Eddie, Shit on Jim Crockett Sr, Vince Sr, Fritz, Gene Labelle, Bill Watts, Don Owen, And Stu Hart while you are at it. Cause all those men had to do things that might seem "not good PR" for there promotion, fans and workers.
Eddie Graham used to show up on TV dressed in a suit and tie and was always attacked and beaten up, to draw the ire of the ticket paying public. He was slung around, pile driven, choked, or give a thrust in the throat by Killer Khan, The Assassin, or the bad guy of the month to draw bigger crowds at his events. He would foam at the mouth, thrash around on the floor, or be taken away in an ambulance much to the horror of Gordon Solie and the crowd at the Sportitorium. Great stuff for sure.
Some of the greatest PRO Wrestling EVER!

@RSXemperor Sad but true. I blame Vince for this, if you really want to get down to it.

You can just see how upset Gordon Solie is at Eddie's passing.

I've seen eddie Graham live many times in Miami Beach as a youngster, it seems like he bled everytime he wrestled.
