@KazukiSeirei when i first heard that i literally could not believe it until I googled it.....completely outrageous, it shows how everything is tied together (obama gets nobel, bernanke gets time person of the year); however, Im curious to just how Time is portraying him. They may be calling him person of the year due to the enormous pressures he has been getting from all sides while staying cool, i guess ill have to read the article to pass my final judgment on Time magazine.

Politicians have us figured out. Most Americans are lazy morons. Present company excepted. Others I know have thought it doesnt matter who you vote for so they have never been involved. Then you have those that think only in terms of Dem or Repub like that is most important thing. No check their voting records. See who gets paid by whom.

Very well put together. The case for secrecy has simply not been made. Having not been made, and given the economic significance of what the Fed does to everyone, it is irresponsible on a variety of levels to not demand transparency from this institution.

Why is there such respect for secrecy? So we find out it's a shaky house of cards - isn't it still better to know?
