  • my wife is from chongqing, brilliant city!

  • Apart from the spectacular city lights, there are some very beautiful natural scenaries in Chongqing, e.g. 合川,奉节,just to name a few.

  • I'm sure it will. Thanks for viewing.

  • makes me sad to live in a boring city like portland oregon

    >:(

if anyone tells you portland isn't boring, they are probably a hippy

  • Then try to make a trip to Chongqing and enjoy the beautiful sceneries in the mountains, Yangtze River......and of course, the night scene at Nan Tian Men 南天门

  • cant afford it :(

  • its ok, really, i lived in potland 4 one month. just fine like everyother us cities, well except la and nyc.

  • thats because you were there only 4 months

it gets really old after a long stay

  • I come from Sichuan, but I have lived in chongqing for two years,I like it

  • I have uploaded 2 more video clips on Chongqing. If you want to watch them, search for the tags "yipwh" and "chongqing". By the way, we're a retired couple from Hong Kong and we love travelling in the mainland. It's nice knowing you !

  • Nice to meet you too.

some pepole say chongqing is similar with HongKong, how do you think that? The hills and many steps?

I met a lot of travellers who are from Hongkong and Taiwan.

  • There are some hills in Hong Kong. But few are as high as those in Chongqing. Compared with Chongqing, Hong Kong is a much smaller place. Both places have magnificent night scenes, though.

  • right.

    where do you live now?HongKong?

Next time if you come to chongqing, please let me know. You are welcome to visit our hostel.hehe

    cheers

  • We have always lived in Hong Kong and we still do. Will visit you when we come to Chongqing. Thanks.

  • Chongqing is a beautiful place, not for people with acrophobia though ^_^ there was this bridge... that bridge :(

  • Chongqing is a beautiful city with beautiful ladies!

  • Beautiful place, thanks for the video, can't wait to travel there in August.

  • Thanks. May you have a wonderful trip !

  • Chongqing at night, something beautiful to experience!- Excellent video, thank you for posting this.

  • Thanks for viewing.

  • is there some chinese left under all the western glitz?

  • Yes, a lot. See my next video on Chongqing. Search for the tag "yipwh". Thanks for viewing.

  • u r very humble!

  • my question is: Can those buildings lift chinese out of poverty?

  • Well asked! I think they are an indication that part of China has been lifted out of poverty. But the rest of China has a long long way to go. It takes all of us to care. Asking the right question is a very good start. View my other video clips on Youtube for the other side of China. Search the tag " yipwh ". Thanks for viewing.

  • Then, without these buildings, China can quickly get out of poverty?

    You don't know economics.

  • just begin... compare with 10 years ago, you will know how big change it is
