  • The lesson was learned her.

  • aww poor baby… she looks so sad

  • Very important to Induce vomit. My pug had eattin a large hershey kiss and foil and vet told me to give her peroxide. i was afraid she was gonna die because ive heard stories. luckly she was ok and puked it all up, foil and all haha

  • We did this to my Chihuahua that I had as a kid. At some of my moms antibiotics and vet told us to give him about a tablespoon of perocide (however its spelled) and that will make his stomach contract out.

  • Awww bless!

  • I learned it from watching YOU!

  • ooo thats sad but cute imm soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo srry

  • i bet if you put another box in front of that dog he would still eat it at that very moment... maybe the word "learns" was used too literally lmao :D

  • Nasty

  • Naww! Thats so sad! Bostons never think out the consequences of their actions, so impulsive! lol! And these people are idiots if they are commenting that your dog died or got sick. The puking was orders from when he called a vet and instead of wasting time going all the way to the vet to get his stomach pumped, they did it at home which is quicker, and probably more comfortable for Avi.

  • Anyone else think it was shit at first hahah?

  • Poor Avi!!! My eldest boston ate a whole bunch of malt balls when we left her at my grandparents' house but she seemed to be fine afterwards. I geuss it was because it wasn't pure chocolate.

  • i love how dog people are such experts on every thing and how they dont want to offened but ya know you should have done this he called the vet that went to school that got a degree

  • Handlers mistake.

  • How come dogs die if they eat choco? (or usually die)

  • @candkatie11 It's a bit complicated, but in a nutshell chocolate has a chemical called theobromine, which is like caffeine from coffee, but not as strong as an effect. Caffeine can raise a human heart to highly elevated heart rate, especially if someone has caffeine sensitivity. Theobromine can also do that, but on a smaller scale. Now if a little bit of caffeine or theobromine can make someone have a high heart rate, compare the size of a human to your average dog. Heart attack.

  • @candkatie11 However, I've lived with many dogs over the years, all of them had eaten chocolate at one point or another, whether they found it, some little kids gave it to them, etc. None of them ever got sick. Now coffee on the other hand - in excess that can kill people let alone dogs. The owner(s) of this dog had their dog's vet induce vomiting, which is what a responsible person should do. Take every precaution necessary. The dog I believe, did not get sick on his/her own.

  • @candkatie11 ....you're on the internet, all you have to do is google when you don't know something.

  • LOOK AT THOSE EYES. r.i.p i died from the cuteness

  • AWWW!!! HES GONNA DIE SOON!!! REST IN PEACE IF HE DEID :'''(

  • Something just tells me hose guys are gay for some reason....

  • My friend has this same type of dog. She had a thing for coins...

  • ugh, shouldn't have left them some where she could get them!!! but at least she's ok!

  • yay vet

  • She has the quintessential "poor me" Boston face. My baby has that face when she's been caught sneaking "almond rocas" from the cat box.

  • @middleC17 I'll never eat another almond roca, ew!

  • @middleC17 Oh that's disgusting!!! Why do dogs eat feces?!?! I like dogs and all, but I have a hard time understanding why so many people say dogs are smarter than cats when dogs eat poop and cats do not.

  • @severedtesticles "Dogs have masters, cats have staff." Pretty much sums it up, haha.

  • @middleC17 Too true, lol.

I gotta say though that Boston Terriers are insanely cute dogs. Look at the poor little guy's face in this video!

  • You idiot. That's chocolate.

  • Poor baby!!!

  • That's the lesson I've learned. My Boston ate chocolate TWICE and we also had to induce vomiting by using peroxide. Now every time I have chocolate I keep it high up on the book shelf where he can't get it.

  • nice fishtank

  • I bet that came out more than just one end!!

  • valuable lesson for you both. Owner : no more leaving chocolate where the dog can get it! Dog: no more chocolate

  • LOL. poor dog.. but this is kinda funny to me.. (not because she is vomiting, poor girl) but dogs are allways goofy ;P

  • Ohh poor baby!

  • Poor little sweetie! I had a Boston once who did that. Got up on the table and ate a bowl of Hershey's Kisses. At least yours was confined to the bathtub. I came home to a house full of chocolate puke! She survived but was oh so sick!

  • She is sooooo cute! I hope she feels better. A valuable lesson indeed!

  • Hope Avi feels much better then, if you eat chocolate yourself, and the dog looks at you with it´s "Begger look" especially on shelties, because i have one myself ;)

You just have to give them, they´re sooo cute! :)

    Hope it feels better.

  • I do hope your dog is feeling better. I do not know why you induced vomiting, the reason was not stated. chocolate can kill a dog, but it is bakers chocolate that is deadly. Before inducing vomiting such things like aspiration and chocking need to be considered. I am not saying what you did was wrong, I just do not want anyone to assume vomiting should be induced if their dog ate a piece of chocolate candy. Please confirm with your vet. Thank you.

  • I called my vet minutes of my dog eating nearly a pound of mixed milk, and dark chocolates. My vet instructed me to induce vomiting by giving her a table spoon of peroxide. Within twenty seconds Avi emptied her entire stomach. I gave her water, and watched her for several hours. And now you know the rest of the story. Thank's for commenting.

  • @Jonathon1500 you absolutely did the right thing!

  • @Jonathon1500 ....This sentence "And now you know the rest of the story." made me immediately think of Paul Harvey, loved his radio show and his voice.

  • @Jonathon1500

    suck eggs

  • @Crystallynn356 Hi, I'm not sure if you ever had this issue cleared up, but all chocolate can be deadly to dogs depending on the type of chocolate, how much they eat, and the size of the dog. In this case the dog ate a lot of mixed chocolates and the dog is just a little thing. If he hadn't induced vomiting it could have been bad. I just don't want you to assume that vomiting is often less necessary than it truly is. :)

  • @Crystallynn356 You NEED to make her puke or it will kill her...

  • Poor, sweet baby. I hope she is feeling better.

  • Hope Amy feels better!
