beautifully done! how do you like the lehua long neck soprano? i've been contemplating whether to get it or not... it sounds decent over the speakers but i can't make a decision over a recording and some reviews. if you can, how would you compare it to a koaloha super soprano or something similar?
Thanks. I love the Lehua. It sounds better in person. That's just recorded with a point and shoot cam. Has great tone and volume, for a soprano. I haven't played those ukes you listed, but did play a Kiwaya longneck sop, and the tone/volume is fairly comparable, but the Kiwaya is much more expensive (also much thinner neck). I have heard that there some bad examples of Lehua ukes out there, so don't buy without trying.
Thanks so much for responding! I appreciate the work you've done in figuring out the song on the Uke and also for working to Tab it out and letting us have it! I'll be watching for it on the Forum. Thanks again!
No, I haven't tabbed it yet. It's just something I worked out using Dr. Uke chords, but I changed the key and used "abbreviated" chords, and made up a few too. I will try to tab it and post it on EZ Folk.
Hi I was able to follow you on my Uke until you went into the part where the "classic" tab moves to Dm, Fm (...please turn on your magic beam..) but then I have real problems figuring out the rest, could you please post the chords (or tabs of them) here? This would be really helpfull since I think yours is one of the 2 best versions out there
I think I (we) can figure out the picking, but the chords are hard to see on the video...
Great job.

Decent job. Though you could go a lot farther if you'd ditch the pick and learn to strum and pick with fingers. It's limiting your sound.
