He is at least logical even if he posed as a lunitic, makes sense most there is to lose is shame, embarrasement and off course one degree, late to destination, and few hundred dollars in fuel. a man who mastered time travel could also pause it allowing people to evacuate and perform any task that was to humanitys advantage man what thought pervoking idea's Mr. Serling had.
even if u did go back in time i dont think anyone could save the pepole of Hiroshima what can u do put all the civillians into the time machine and take them to safty where they wont get hurt their was too many of them and theyd say were mad and still wouldnt come we cant change Hiroshima but we can learn from it
@freacls : The population of Hiroshima is four times what it was in 1945......The Japanese people recover from shock quickly, and get on with their lives and business. Now, thanks to our government's inability to mind it's own business, we're buried in Toyotas--each with a stylized symbol of a mushroom cloud on the grill. Justice exists, and has nothing to do with man's conception of it.
@thomasandtanga "we" did drop 2 bombs you ignorant little monkey. You say we like we were all in it together, mass murder. "We" did not drop anything on anyone. Your slave masters did it. They fed your grandparents fake, made up stories, just like the ones the current gov. feeds us, and used it as an opporntunity to do what they wanted. The brainwashing is so powerful that all these years later we think we are still right for having done it.
Has anyone noticed that our hero tries to shot a country's leader from a window with a bolt-action rifle, and the date of the original airing was in 1963?
If you can transport yourself to any location, at any time, go interrupt Hitler's mom and dad while they're in the middle of concieving him, or transport under the stage hitler's gonna use in the middle of the night and put a bomb there. He always picks the hardest, most dangerous way of doing it! I guess it's a drama though-it would be boring without danger.
He did a commercial where he said I am an alcoholic ,it was considered shocking at the time .His brother steve forrest also did a one hour twilight zone called the parallel where he played an astronaut on the wrong planet.
Fucking CBS. This should be public domain by now. It's 50 years old! They hated Serling, anyways, while he was alive, cause he bucked against thier heavy-handed censorship. He'd like me calling them pricks.
King: Of all the TZ epiosdes that are on the Internet for free, this is THE ONE that I wanted to see more than any other, and it's missing parts 1 and 6. Why doesn't this guy at least fix just this one episode?
Whadda dummy. He should have brought with him some carefully-considered/dated/documented evidence from his time period to support his claims and even if he did eliminate Hitler, would that have made a difference? His vision was shared by millions, esp. by the military. He could kill Hitler, but not his ideals.
That's probably true. Heinrich Himmler or someone else would have just picked up where Hitler left off. And killing Hitler at that juncture would have just made him look like a martyr, probably adding fuel to the movement. Hitler was quite popular in Germany, after all, prior to the war breaking out. A lot of Germans saw him as their savior after the horrid post-WWI conditions. That said, yes, I think most of us would try and go back in time and stop the Holocaust any way we could...
PerfectElement21, Are you referring to me or the person who made the original comment. If you are referring to me, them please give an example of a bolt-action shotgun - make and model.
I was referring to the person who said it was a shotgun...I don't post asinine comments unless I'm sure of what I'm talking about. I live in central Pa and hunt, so I hope I know what a shotgun and rifle looks like and/or shells.

He tries to shoot a political leader with a bolt-action rifle in 1963...Hmm. I wonder what John F. Kennedy would have to say about this.
SecretService80 2 years ago
The German maid says "Do you hear that?...That is our new Germany...that is something you'll never understand"
He responds "That Madame is the OLD Germany and that is something you'll never understand"
Dana Andrews was comparing the Third Reich to the Second Reich under Kaiser Wilhelm II....both militaristic societies.
Writer and creator of the Twilight Zone Rod Serling was a genius.....and Jewish.
