  • Stan: I am an American, in my 30s and PBS broadcast this locally in the early 90s. I really wish it was available on North American DVD. I would love to make an American, modern version of this, too. But it would get ruined, so never mind.

    Great show.

  • this reminds you of why alternative ( so called ) comedy came about - dire, awful, boring, cliched, the only people laughing are those on the laughter track...

  • Great Stuff

  • don't do that excercise as suggested at 1:30

Now-a-days, that is thought to creat lower back problems.

The modern version is one leg at a time, the other leg's foot resting flat on the floor, causing the knee to be slightly bent.

Therby placing stress to only one side of the lower back; and not causing any great trauma to the lower back; antagonistic muscles taking some of the strain.

    etc.

  • Like Wendy Craig? check out my homage to her in song and pictures.

Buuterflies @ the ordinary man 1

    Cheers

  • I love this show,as well as being very funny, could be very serious at times too.

  • Believe it or not....this show was broadcast on American TV in the 80's. I thought it was a good sitcom
