joni mitchell song I think works much better at this point 'Both sides now' in the London show. AS well as Venus instead of 'material girl' Must have been some rights issues with the other songs.

Am I the only one that is getting truly sick of all this "the Broadway production sucks compared to --------" nonsense? They were all fantastic productions, they all touched thousands of people, and they all had the privilege of Tony Sheldon's greatness. What more can one require?

True Colours is too moany and an awful replacement to Both Sides Now! Both Sides Now is the best song ever and has that emotional side to it, it's a real beautiful song :D. Broadway shouldn't have changed too much, they have lost some of the uniqueness :(. x

oh I love this song. 1st, after having seen the show 26 times in London I was sceptical as I know there are some changes. But I do love both versions now. I gonna miss true colers def. if back in London.Otherwise I missed venus a lot while visiting the show there. ;) Thanks for sharing :D

Both Sides Now also works but in this version of the show, True Colours works better in my opinion. Moving but the words mean something if you listen to them. And the three part harmony - beautiful!

I love this song, and on the soundtrack it sounds fab!

But on stage, it's too moany and boring...

I say they bring back Both Sides Now, there was nothing wrong with the show as it was!! :L

@brightsunshine I can agree it is very touching, and it is an amazing song, but it just doesn't work on stage... :/
