  • Where is his keyboard ? :S

  • @MrMilan90 on his lap - like alot seem to play

  • @HelllordxD Hmm weird style :)

  • The human eye can see the difference between 4000 and 6000 fps.. So dont act like 60 in the max

  • high sens? wtf :D thats why strenx always pwn him

  • anyone knows what monitor that is? ploxxxxxxxxxxxxx

  • you guys do realise that these 125 fps are just for the smoothness. Just for the notes all FPS below 25 FPS will result in a stutter view which pretty much means all above it will give you a clean and smooth picture

  • ZADROT EBANYI

  • You get blind if you will be still playing on this old school CRT ;)

  • I want such big mousepad )

  • what mousepad is that ???

  • @BARTUCQUAKE Razer Goliathus, not the fragged edition tho.

  • first

  • freaking cypher supernatural kid

  • where can i get his hud?=/

  • where is his keyboard lol

  • wow those monitors can ruin ur eyes in a matter of minutes

  • why do they play on CRTs?

  • @gavinlloydbaker because CRTs can achieve higher refresh rates compared to LCDs

  • @gavinlloydbaker CRT monitors have a lower latency than LCD monitors

  • @upsm4sh

Umm, infact, no. LCDs have lower latency, but CRTs can get a higher amount of hertz which means more frames per second. Most LCDs are limited to a 60 fps.

    @Amiskone

All wrong. CRTs have 0 input lag and no ghosting and thats why most Quakers prefer them. Even 120hz LCDs have a bit of ghosting in some fast games. I know because I have one. I also have a CRT and a 60hz LCD monitor. Also your comment about more hertz more fps makes no sense.

  • @moaner4u Hertz = how many times in a second can the screen change the picture, your max hz is always your max fps. Its all about the models of the screens.

  • @Amiskone SPERMED?

  • @Amiskone "your max hz is always your max fps". No thats only when the user have Vsync on, If the user enabled vysnc while his monitor is at 120hz, his max fps will be capped at 120, but if the user has vsync off, his fps will can go pass the monitors current Hz. So max fps is NOT always the same as the monitors Hz, its all depends on vsync being on or off.

  • @cyborg34572 typos

"Can go pass" , accidentaly put "will" in there

  • @cyborg34572 Your FPS doesnt matter after the point of going over the hertz since the hertzes tell how many times in a second can your pixels be updated.

  • @Amiskone I was just saying Fps isnt always the same as max Hz , it depends on vsync being on or off. Most of the time fps does go over maz Hz anyways, unless one has a crappy computer. If you play with vysnc on then you should turn it off, Vsync caps your fps depending on your monitor hz to get rid of screen tears but it also causes ungodly input lag. Its really best to just let your fps go over your your max hz even if the extra frames dont really matter.

  • @Amiskone in counterstrike fps is very important ..even if your lcd has 75hz your in game fps must be 100 for the recoil to work properly ...otherwise if u use vsync ......and have 60 fps in game ...even with 10000 hertz on the monitor you wont shoot shit

i dont know if fps in quake are are crucial as in cs .

  • @sidewaysfcs0718

quakelive fps is locked at 125 and its crucial to have a pc that can handle this on any map (not a hard thing to do tho since the engine is old & well written). even tho the physics aint linked to fps anymore as in q3, stable max fps is still very important as you'll want pure smoothness at a stable level to feel comfortable in such a fast paced game.

125fps and ideally a 120hz crt or one of the new 120hz tft + a mouse running at 500/1000 hz usb -> thats how you roll in QL

  • @katamere

by configuring com_maxfps, cl_maxpackets, refreshrate you can get stable fps below 125 and above 63, wont get any discarded packets, the monitor wont rub your eyes and you wont have to pay extra

  • @katamere

the human eye detects only 60 fps looool

  • @pwchcenjuro actually 30, 60 when you have an adrenaline rush

  • @pwchcenjuro

only 60fps? were did you read that bullshit. thats almost as stupid as people claiming u cannot see more than 25 because 25 is roughly were u stop seeing a row of single pictures but motion instead

the human eyes is not limited by fps, why would u even think so? its an organ not a machine. the benefit of more and more frames depletes but u can easily see a difference in 60,75,125 and beyond..

  • @moaner4u SPERMED?

  • @Amiskone No. Get your facts straight.

  • @Amiskone ROFL this made my day. Oh wow...

  • @Amiskone Most LCD's have latency, there are only a handful of new 120hz zero latency LCD's out there and even those have slight ghosting. CRT's have no latency at all, check your facts.

FPS is what matters in games, your monitor hz will be what determines what you can SEE, but your fps determines what will happen in the game. The reason you want both of them high and close to each other is to limit the amount of distortion between the two.

  • notice at 20 seconds. looks like the cameraman is taking a whizz...

    made me lol...

  • Razer Abyssus

  • what mouse is that?
