I'm thinking of buying a 5000 round box magazine for my M4. At the moment, I have a 45 round magazine, along with two 300 high caps. The 5000 round magazine is mainly for support, as in covering fire. I'm still debating though if I should get that, or a few mid-caps. My games last around 30-45 minutes. An opinion on this situation would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

The only problem with midcaps is you need to buy like a 10 pack, then a speedloader (preferably a kwa m4 style speedloader), then a molle vest with lots of molle m4 pouchs then a drop pouch which can easily go over $125

@TehWilliscool9877 i think your hop up bucking is broken if the bullets fall out of your barrel because the bucking is supposed to keep the bb inside the chamber

My only gun is a g&g m16a3, and I use a 9.6volt 3500mah battery. For some reason, the magazines (I got the 2 free mags summer special at evike) that come with the gun always unwind when I shoot at full auto for more than 2 seconds. After they unwind, I can't even wind them up anymore, I have to pour out all the bbs and reload them, and then it winds. I am thinking about buying more magazines, but if all high caps are like this, then I will buy a mid cap. Please help me!!!

also with mid caps u can put out steady full auto fire without winding up, this comes in handy while running or moving while firing. sure u can do that with hi caps, but u have to fire while winding and that could make u over wind them. Also if you keep firing while winding that makes u move ur hand away from the front of ur gun or your fore grip which could make your aim less steady.

thats y u walk stealthily so 1 ur footsteps arent heard and 2 u can always put noise reducing foam around the bottom end of the mag. im just sayin, but if u like mid or low caps go head nothing wrong, play how u like, but i prefer hi-caps.

find out what the problem is.

If it not catches FULLY and it still moves arround quite a bit and then falls out you may wanna customize the hole on the left side of the mag where the gun locks into the mag. The hole may be too small.

If it locks in but does no eed very well find out the position in wich it feeds good and just mage the mag wider with ductape. so it'll stay in that position.

I have a boxset of Star G36 mid caps, they were terrible at feeding, but they seem to work ok now, I think thats the case with all mid caps, feed a full capacity through them and its ok. Nice bit of help there bro

I use 6 Mid Cap Mags but I find myself running out in the middle of a long battle. I guess I need to get web gear that will hold more mags :D. But sometimes I see people with the 2000 rnd Cmags and it takes them like to min to load them back up. High Caps are good but I see people firing and winding the mag. But you are right they make to much noise when you run which doesn't help at all unless you are already in a fire fight.

I airsoft quite a bit and I usually use a high cap for my M16. Well anyway, I was out with a few of my friends and the match was dragging on for a long time. So when I ran out of bbs I figured I was pretty much screwed. Luckily since my friend got hit and was waiting for the medic he let me use one of his midcaps and it was so much better not having to wind the thing up. I ended up hitting 4 guys with 150 bbs. I ordered 3 midcaps yesterday and i cant wait for them to get here.

I think you should post your load outs. Watching your reviews I'm pretty sure you would always make logical decisions for load outs so it would help beginners with starting a loadout and it would be cool to see what you're rockin' in combat.
