I think they are actually better than drasgonforce....maybe not as good at guitar, but they sound far better and have a bertter variety in their beat, where dragonforce is pretty much the same beat being them showing off playing guitar at 500mph lol. Speed isn't alwasy better.

Dragonforce has been playing the same solo over and over again for the last few years. Their guitarist can't play shit. There's many much better technical/speed metal guitarists around.

As for Derdian, they remind me strongly of Rhapsody, which is not surprising, both being Italian. I hope you guys keep working on what you've got, you've got some nice tunes there.

Dragonforce is a great introduction for new Power Metal listeners, but once they expand their horizon and start listening to the real bands like Blind Guardian, Sonatica Artica, Hammerfall, Gamma Ray, etc, there's no turning back.
