I think I may very well have set a record with the Lightouse-- we visited it the first week it was open for climbing after the move. I am scared of heights but still wanted to climb! So I did--very slowly!! Enjoyed the view, but on the way down I got so dizzy from looking down that I had to sit on EVERY step and go down on my bottom... wasn't my most proud moment, but obviously I survived the descent, lol
I'm the same way, but handle it in a completely opposite way...I had to fly down the stairs in order to feel comfortable. Every time I would have to slow down for older people or little kids I would start getting nervous. I hate heights! Thanks for watching!
The first year I visited, they had just mover her and were working on the inside. I *had* to got back, and was the first one to reach the watch room the next year. I cannot wait to visit again. Thanks for the memories.
I was one of the many rangers that worked at the lighthouse. You never suppose to g up that fast must of been a record. By the way you only climbed 257 steps and its 210 feet tall since the move in 1999.
My family and I climbed it the same day!! Didn't see this guy however. Great video!! We had a video camera but with two children couldn't film going up. We just got home and loved seeing this. Once again, AWESOME!!!
Im not saying he did it all by himself lol!
