why do people try to make N/A Supra's seem fast? Wanna know the difference between your N/A Supra and my 98' Supra TT with a swapped GT45R 80mm single turbo? I'd have been a 1/2 a mile or further in FRONT of that Mustang, and pulling hard. Props for being in the Supra community, but stop embarrassing the rest of us please. Its a mustang GT for god sakes. Read the wiki on the mark IVs. Stock for stock they are better than mustangs. Straight lines, curves, breaking, handling.....

@darksniper1982 i was referring to maquereautin's comment. saying a built supra will smoke a stang. if you're talking about anything modified, it'll definitely have some sort of degree of an advantage as compared to anything stock. i'm not dogging supra's, in fact they are very nice cars that almost provide a perfect balance of power and handling. i've seen the potential of fully built supras as well as the potential of fully built mustangs. the degree of modification will make a difference.

@izzyocon yes it is a huge difference, and while a Stang will have a displacement advantage, a Supra has weight advantage, plus they are better known for straight line performance than Mustang's are. And I'm not dogging Mustang's, they hold their own vs a lot of car's and I respect them. But putting a Supra in the same category as a Mustang as far as 1/4 mile times is like comparing a Barabus TKR, and a Honda Civic in a Top Speed run, there is just no contest =(

@izzyocon thanks man, yah that's my daily driven 98 Supra, my monster is my 97 with a 3.4L Stroker, and a GT47R-88mm single. Dyno'd at 1173whp @ 42 PSI on C16 fuel. I don't drive it on the street much, its hard to keep traction with it when you have DoT Drag Radials on it instead of slicks.

Well you should have mention the 80s and 90s. Duh they sucked. The only decent Mustangs were the Terminator Cobras and the new 05+ ones.  Camaros were never great but alright. Well Supras aren't ricers usually. They can be made into some pretty nice cars.
