P.S. the strory of a "carrousel" 16:10 - on Krasiński square, at sunday 25 april 1943, Germans organised a propagand spectacle to show how the local people are anti Jewish. It was a whole campaign connected to the Katyń massacre assumed to the "Jews from Smoleńsk", a little group playing thier roles was accompanied by a crowd of silent people, afraid to say anything.... it was described in a poem "Campo di Fiori" of Czesław Miłosz, a witness and nobel prize winner.

Another question is, since when dollars were a currency in occupied Poland? I don`t know how it was with a trade of arms, but i do know that lacking arms were a major problem for the resistance. They were even manufacturing thier own provisoric rifles and pistols and still they had nothing to fight with in 1944... It was not possible just to "send" the weapons from London like mr. Jakubowski said.

Anyway, much respect from Warsaw, for both communists and "revisionists"...

I can understand that under the soviet "liberation" in Poland it wasn`t 'correct' to talk about a Jewish resistance created by the Polish goverment on exile and the Home Army, but after all of these years you really could give them some credit.
