The better filming techniques used in todays games compared to these early video allows viewers a more complete viewing of games now days, but having seen Jordan in his heyday, no player in todays game brings it like he did.
kobe is nowhere near jordans athleticism. when jordan gets in the air he hangs and his movements are smooth, kobes movements are jerky and fast, and kobe doesnt have the ability to hang and glide through the air.
in his later years mj's midrange jumper and fadeaway was money, and he took alot more of those shots as compared to when he first came into the league. it shows how he changed and adapted to his body.

Jordan and Kobe are great players. Jordan by far is the better player and Kobe has a chance to go down as a top 5 player from his own era. the 84 game is one of my favourite games yet. his craddle dunk is one of my favourite when it comes to his best dunks. look at 0:56 the way he shoots the ball..just crazy, he was so raw and freakin atheletical, and yet so refined at the same time, it just amazes me the elegance of his plays

Yeah, he had some great games against the Knicks as a Wiz. A buzzer beater at MSG for the and a 39 point game in his very last visit. I was at the buzzer beater game. All of us NY fans here were in the subway shaking our heads talking about it for hours.

It's important that the casual viewer know at first glance that this video contains footage from his rookie year, quite possibly his most spectacular year from an aesthetic standpoint. I have the 98 game on tape at home. He wore the 1s for that. MJ always loved Madison square garden. When he played there on the NBA on NBC. Those games were the best.
