rota le da mil vueltas a chipiona vamos jeje, en rota no se ve la gente viviendo en los campos ni las calles sin asfaltar de tierra y con baches como si estuvieras en medio del desierto xd, ayyyyy si no fuera por la jurado chipiona no saldria ni en los mapitas jeje

My favorite duty station in the navy. Spent four years in Rota and could have spent more. Made many spanish friends. The food is fantastic. Never eat in a tourist trap! All our dining was done the bar/resturants that the locals used, Two coffee con letche at 6:30AM would keep you wired all day. Loved the coffee and brandy Satuday mornings. Again, loved my tour.
Papa' y yo, pescabamos por la costa de Rota muchas veces. Naci en la base naval de Rota, pero fuimos a vivir en Chipiona poco despues de mi nacimiento en 1961. Saludos a mis muy amada Margarita Marruffo que era mi segunda mama' y simpre me daba todo su cariño. Me llevaba en su burro, caminando por las arenas playeras de la costa azul desde Chipiona a su casa en Rota , . ¡Besos Margara!
hi no I've never been there but today i was talking to a marine and he told me that he was stationed in rota and that those were his best years of his life and that he enjoyed the town so clean and the bars opened until late etc. So you like it? you must speak spanish don't you¿ why did you like it that much?
