Some say that R.Moore was not physically fit enough to be a badass Bond. But I've always treated the Bond series as a mix of adventure, action and comedy rather than a thriller and I've preferred Bond character to be both manly and charming, intelligent and with a great sense of humor rather than a cold killer.I view Moore as an embodiment of these features - he shows the lighter and funnier side of Bond character. I've just had a good mood after watching his Bond movies.

I know they were made to be suggestive but Moonraker's girl "Goodhead". I mean COME ON! Its just blatant and subtle like "Honey Ryder", for example.

sean connery is the ultimate bond but roger moore is none the less.actually whenever i think of bond moore comes in mind.his humour and elegant charm lightened up the bond world.he represented the true spy like qualties humour to lighten up the dark world of a spy plus toblend in with the surrounding people.i truly think he is the best bond and will always be remembered as the man replacing sean coonery.

Moonraker kicked ass. the anaconda underwater fight the tram fight, the skydive fight, space, hot chicks including holly goodhead, the gondala chase everything made this one of the most admirable bond movies ever. i love this film and everything about it. way to go 007. roger moore was awesome. YAY

Yes in the novel 007 tries to stop Hugo Drax from nuking London in revenge for his country losing WWII, why it got changed to a sci-fi movie I'll never know.

@beanio12. the movie is actually about the first ever space battle that culminated in 27/9/77 that the Soviet Union won. Listen to Dr. Peter David Beter audio letters 26-27 for info.
cause the writers took too many creative liberties with ian fleming's work. the man with the golden gun used to be my fav bond film untill i read the book and saw all the changes they made to the movie version
