Me and two buds got this achievement through xbl. It was great to hear the back story to one of the many characters in the Haloverse. I remember when we got to the last file I noticed the poor guy who froze to death and I was just wondering how did this happen when I hear one of the lads yell out "WHAT THE FUCK?!?" I turn around to see him t-bagging the police man. "THE FUCKER TRIED TO KILL ME!!!" he shouted, never laughed so much during a game :)

@C0N0R9595 for a start its best to do it on solo, if you do it on co-op when you back out and load data hive the 29 audilogs dont save, but if you do it on solo you will have all 29 audiologs and they save when you back out then just load up data hive and follow this vid, also make sure your on the easy difficulty, its not a hard thing to do its just time consuming, the gamescore is worth it in the end tho i guess, good luck =)

It should be a hint when the marine says "Kinzler gave me real specific instructions, make sure the doc is dead and make double sure no one knows about it." The doc he is referring to is the dead man in the corner by the audio log. That doc is also Sadie's dad.

the reason why most people only find 29 on co-op is because the 30th is on a different level... and once the co op game ends it doesnt save.. so you cant carry it on you have to do it all in one go.. however if you do it solo get the 29.. then back out and load up this level.. then it will work...

@boydy0894 thanks to this vid i got the achievment, just to help out a quick sec, all i did was type on google 'halo 3 odst audiolog locations', it gives you some cool maps which shows the locations of the audiologs, get the 29 logs and then back out, then load up this level and follow what this vid does, nothing went wrong when i did it and i got the achievment, i did all 30 in one go, also try not to change any of the settings, dont think it affects it but its better to be safe. good luck =) .

I Fiound it: Theres a hard to find audiolog in Mombasa streets: On a building, only way to get there is by jumping on a crate.

Then you can get this one.

Now when i go back into mombasa streets it says i have found no audio logs?

i think you need to go by yourself to the data hive to collect the last one (not save-quit-load when in coop)

I don't know if you'll still need this info at this point but you CANNOT collect all thirty audio files in Co-Op. You need to collect the first twenty nine through SOLO Mombassa Streets and then Save and Quit. After that replay "Data Hive" and you should be able to get this achievement ^_^

He's on a mission from the commisioner to make sure Dr. Endesha is dead. You apparently know too much about it, so he tries to kill you too. It ties in to the audio logs.

If youve watched the audiofiles you learn that most of the cops in the city are under orders from Kingsler the police commissoner to find the engineer alien that hacked the supertendent under the oni building you blew up The dead body is Sadie's dad who was killed by Kingsler. The cop was sent there to make sure he was really dead and to make sure noone else knew about it. He trys to kill you cause u walked in on something u werent suppose to see.

Im sorry to let you down, ghana4me, but that cop can´t be mike for several reasons. First, mike gave his police jacket to Sadie and he was never shown with a helmet, second, the crazy policeman said "Kingsler gave me really specific orders, to make sure the doc is dead and make double sure no one finds out." Mike hated kingsler and he had left to Nakuba with Sadie, and Mike has an African accent, the policeman doesn't.

I heard after you find all the 30 audio logs and you meet up with Dare. The cutscene when they find the Engineer the Rookie will stop Dare to shoot the Engineer due to listening the audio log. Where if you didn't find them all Dare will stop the Rookie from shooting the Engineer.

The reason why there are so many dead elites, is because during this time period in the Halo universe, the covenant turned against the elites, so the brutes killed them. Which is why there are all the bodies :P

wht ive ben told is that u hav to play through the campaign again. when u hav but 1 more place to go 2 on the map, then u find all the audiophiles. after doing so finish the last place and continue 2 data hive. if done so correctly, the police officer will jump down w u and lead u 2 the door to where it is instead of staying bak and dying by the drones
