  • Good, classic Clearasil Pads 2% salicylic acid twice a day w/out missing (the key is consistency in STAYING clear) has worked for me for YEARS! I use 5% benzoyle peroxide in a tube I buy in bulk online on my body or anywhere a zit even thinks it's gonna rear its ugly head. ^_^

  • The cleanser of Paulas clean target line broke me out though. Now i just have red marks and a few pimples. I would definitely recommend acne.org Benzolperioxide 2,5% as well their Regimen method!!

  • Although she does know a few things, she is strongly biased and claims many things that are untrue.

Basically, if you have any kind of serious acne you should see a doctor and ask for real medication, such as the antibiotic minocyclin. Benzoylperoxide is only effective for people that have very very little acne and salicyl acid isn't even used in acne treatment anymore. They still put it in such products mainly because the effective ingredients require prescriptions and so this sells better.

  • Thanks for sharing your advice and information on getting rid of acne and getting clear skin!

If you have any questions about acne or breakouts let me know... I'm sure I can help!

    Thanks!

  • I would disagree that peppermint and menthol are "irritating to the skin." There is no way that they are more irritating then benzoyl peroxide, which irritates the hell out of most people's skin and can cause cancer...

  • I get buttloads of benzoyl peroxide, 16 oz of 2.5% for $30 on acne . org

  • Ummm... Benzoyl peroxide is over-the-counter too Paula!

  • @JoshuaEvanPowell This video was made in England. Benzoyl Peroxide, if you'd believe it, is a prescription only product in the United Kingdom.

  • @lol365 I can say with absolute, 100% certainty that benzoyl peroxide is NOT a prescription only product in the United Kingdom. I have lived there for many years and have used benzoyl peroxide for many years. It is available in all pharmacies, though it is behind the counter. I have never once been asked for a prescription and a tube of it generally costs less than £3.

  • @JoshuaEvanPowell I live in the UK as well and I've always had to get a prescription for it, how odd.

  • @lol365 Perhaps you've asked for one which was a prescription one. There are plenty that aren't. PanOxyl do a few gels and creams, as well as a BP cleanser, all of which are over-the-counter. Go to boots.com and search "panoxyl".

  • i'm using Isa Dora press on powder and it was SPF 15 and it works srsly amazing!

  • That Clearasil product HAS menthol?!?
