  • AMAZING!!! This is EXACTLY how I've always wanted my haircut to be but every time I spend $50 to get a haircut, it's nothing like how I wanted it. I definitely subscribed after watching this video! YAY! Thanks!! You rock! =)

  • You guys look soooo alike! Aww sisterly love <3, something me and my sister don't have...... (completely joking, I love her!) :)

  • awesome haircut!!!!!!

  • can you do this with a side part?

  • So you lovely lady you! I did this cut on myself and I can honestly day I may never have to go to a stylist ever again! You made it soo easy to follow and fun that even a person like me could do it! I LOVE MY HAIR BECAUSE OF YOU! THANK YOU!!!!

  • "I always talk about food in my videos, whats wrong with me"

    Made my day

    Love you, this is great!

  • OMG I wish the salons around my place had hairdressers as good as you. They ALWAYS ALWAYS mess my hair up >_<. I should just cut my own hair but it is so intimidating!!!

Do you cut your own hair, too, or do you have someone else do it? I imagine trying this on yourself is hard work. You'd have to be seriously SKILLED to see where all the parts go (with all that hair in your face).

  • love your vids

  • Absolutely beautiful.

Btw, your brother (I think it is your brother?) is sooooooo cute

  • By far the absolute best long-layers haircut tutorial on all of YouTube! Simple, well-spoken, clear, easy to follow, and great images. I have been searching for a video like this for over a year and I am glad I found you. I greatly appreciate your time and talent in doing this video. I cannot thank you enough, take care!

  • I was honestly really scared to cut my hair at home...but this is the best hair cut I've ever had! I actually had my mom cut it for me ( she's no hairdresser ;) but I've never had a better haircut. I've gotten so many compliments on my hair and it works both curly and straightened. I've watched thousands of youtube videos to cut hair...this is by far the best:) THANKS FARAH!

  • Will this work for curly and short hair? ( my hair is up to my shoulder)

  • WOW U R SO TALENTED!

like u can cut hair and your a doctor

    wow amazing

  • i just did this to myself and was sooo freaked out because the last time i ended up in a very true 20's bob. BUT i did great with your help and i feel sooo prety with this cut. its so womenly and i just want to say thanks for all you do. your tips and tricks never fail me.

  • For so many years I've wanted waist length hair, but every time I went to the salon to "trim" my hair, the hairdresser would just cut like 5 inches or more! So I decided that I should cut my own hair, so I've watched almost every video on youtube about cutting hair at home, I have tried them all and my hair would always turn out fine but I didn't really love it, and the last time it turned out uneven. I tried your method today and my hair is AMAZING, even, with a lot of movement, THANKS!! =)

  • thank u sooooooooooooooo much.. this is the first video i watch in years and it made sense!! i just finished cutting and blow drying my hair and it looks like i just walked out of a hair saloon! THANK U

  • Love the video!!!!! I definitely going to try it, they never got my hair like that at the salon.

  • Thank you for posting this!! My hair has been looking so flat and boring for like a year now and I thought it was just the products I've been using that's been weighing it down. Turns out I had the wrong cut because I just tried this out and it looks so nice now! Thanks again ;D

  • You taught me better than by beauty school did, which was a great school, or maybe I just understand better. Great job and thanks for the video

  • i just tried it and it worked great, thanks girl!

  • love the cut! great look ladies! :)

  • You've both got stunning hair! All Indians have beautiful shiny, thick straight hair!

  • @sugarbabysugar..i know SHE is indian U idiot!!! Im talking about me and other people of color who cannot or should not cut their hair wet..go suck a lawnmower while its running!

  • omgsh:D did anyone know or is it just me? You could actually play the snake game when your video stops in the middle of playing, you just have to press the up button to start!!:D thats a cool way of waiting for the video to load:D!

  • woah thats an awesome vid!

    thnx for that!!

  • This was so helpful! I actually just did this to myself and it turned out perfect and even! Thanks!

  • great job!

  • BEST VIDEO. ITS PROFESSIONAL N NOT HALF ASS. THE OTHER VIDEOS THE LWYERS LOOK UNEVEN.

  • amazing haircut, thank you so much for this video!

  • Hi Farah, i just cut my hair and was wondering how did you finish the look? My hair is naturally very straight, so the layers don't really show on my hair. How should i section my hair while blow drying to get the layers out? Or should i just put rolls in? If rolls the same question, how to section the haircut? Would REALLY appreciate if you'd have the time to answer :)

  • wow both of you are really pretty. and this helpled so much thanks!!!

  • excuse me but black hair cannot be cut wet..shrinkage, needs to be blown out and flat iron before cutting

  • @beautyqueen130 She isn't black, you fricking idiot. She's Indian. Get your facts straight before you say something like that.

  • thts nice ilike.

  • My hair is super long like Farah's and I cut mines myself. Thanks for the amazing video! It helped alot!

  • jealous.

  • WOW ! thats all i could say ..

  • I wished you could cut my hair. I have never left a hair sailon with a smile. They never do what I want. And all I want is a haircut like yours -.-

  • omg i love your hair! its soo pretty! :D

  • omg! i would LOVE it if you would cut my hair! :D

  • WOW you did an amazing job! This is what I always ask for in the salon and they do exactly the opposite! Is this possible to do on my self or maybe the front part only?

  • wow you and your sister are beautiful! Not that Im hitting on you two but just thought you should know! :) I recently found your channel..like today and i cant stop watching because they are so helpful and interesting!! No worries about the food references, I love me some food! :p

  • Can you do a tutorial on how you blow dried her hair? it's soo nice!

  • Lol it's funny how you said that the nose it usually in the center of out face, at least I hope it is other wise bad haircut lol nice video do more please!!!!!!!!! If u can on short hair that would be amazing!!!!!!! Thank you so much :)

  • Lovely video, first of all, but what you just cut looks to me like Square Layers because you cut all of your sections at 180 degrees (straight up and down). Whereas, Round Layers are cut at 90 degrees (completely following the silhouette and shape of the head). But, I totally love this video. Thanks so much for uploading.

  • are you serious?! this should alreayd have a gazillian views! LOVE IT

  • I just did this to my hair and I have to say I love it. It takes time when you are doing it to yourself, and when you don't know how and where to move you hands lol. I cut very few of my hair but still, it makes a difference. awesome!

  • She isn't cutting her hair, cause it's around cut like this. :3

  • "the nose is usually in the center of your face" lmao that made me laugh

  • Is a good video, but she is not cutting her own hair....

  • beautiful, can u do this on yourself?? lol

  • I just cut my hair to your tutorial and it turned out pretty good! I got kinda of scared and left some longer pieces in the back, my hair is pretty long. It kinda of looked funny with hair straight so i redid some pieces but even more longer layers. I love it can't wait to curl my hair it will all blend in so well!

  • Yay! I watched your video this morning and cut my own hair following your steps exactly - I love it! You are a great teacher. Thanks!

  • Yap this i the best cutting tutorial, very very god.

  • GREAT VID! CANT WAIT TO CUT MY HAIR!

  • very nice

  • unless you have a crocked nose...lol...thats a simply technique...easy to follow...

  • @xxxcKretxxx lmao that was fucken mean haha but true :P

  • @xxxcKretxxx thats not nice! I am glad I do not judge ppl by the way they look!

  • Would someone be able to do this to their own hair? It's a beautiful haircut!

  • LOL the nose is USUALLY in the center of the face? I think I can safely say that 100% of the people I've ever seen have had their noses in the center of their face.

  • @sapphirerocky yeah but thats the people YOUVE seen =P

  • @sapphirerocky No, not always. Not to be mean, but it's a fact: Some have their nose a bit off center. :O And no, offense, but you really sound like a know-it-all.

  • @RobDowneyJrFan87 And you really sound like a jerk. Saying "no offense" doesn't make your comment sound less offensive. All I said was that everyone I know has their nose in the middle of their face, how is that being a "know -it -all"? Even if your nose is slightly turned or crooked, it's still in the same general area, is it not?
