A few questions, one can the lens covers be removed from the optic? Also, are the 552 and the flip up sights also from Airsoft Club? I am looking for good quality dual optics like what you have, but want to make sure the products are not cheap copies. Thanks man, good review.

Any chance this could be used well with just ironsights? Mainly as a magnifier for checking stuff out, and still be able to fire if a target is spotted.

I noticed that you reticule was not centered when you had the magnifier up, was that because of your camera angle or was the magnifier to tall? And how good is the eye relief?

Not to be a dick, just to inform you.... You set up would never work. your magnifier is way to far back you'd have a black eye from the magnifier popping you in the eye. lol

will this be able to handle the recoil on my real ar? im trying to find a cheap fts magnifier for my ar and this looks like a good buy, i just want to make sure it can take the recoil before i buy it

@Hitatchi243 i would not recommend using any of these products on anything more powerful than a 22lr however look up the kwa lm4 ptr and compare the recoil; airsoft products will hold up to the aforementioned kwa gbb gun

@FLAMINGPICKLES i went to ehobbyasia and got this same one without the trades though for about 64 bucks (including shipping) and its very fucking nice its all metal and none of it is a rip off, its heftier and more beefty than you'd expect, it looks and feels great, its added an extra 2 pounds to my 12 lb SR-25

Update, I found this a little to impractical for skirmishing seeing how you can use irons out to 200 yards with irons on a real ar, which is way past the capability of airsoft. The weight to usefulness value just isn't there. Works extremely well for training, plinking and yes, cool factor, so make a decision biased on your philosophy of use (yes a nutnfancy reference for those who catch it).

@austinkarch do you know how to adjust it? becasue my magnifier is tilted up so the reticle sits on the bottom of the magnifier, i see the adjustment bar holding the platform up in the front and i know theres some way of lowering that bar so the platform goes level, but i dunno how, can you help? btw i have the same magnifier as you

Does the magnifier sit flush with the eotech or atleast flush enough to be easily used.

i dont think this really works, as u can see at 0:36 the magnifier is higher than the eotech.

plus i tried it. the magnifier actually "magnifies" the objects u r aiming at.... so, when i on the red/green light in my eotech, it just "magnifies" the light reticule.

While you're "Airsoft setup" is really cool, that's not an EOTech or an EOTech magnifier, and you should just call it what all the rest of the COD fags do. Call it a "hybrid sight"

@nbandthefrench @nbandthefrench I have one and I can't seem to get the L3 to zero in on the EOtech, its the mounts fault, it either doesn't adjust or loses zero from the jarring release upon flip to side... I bought an AMP flip to side mount for $40, holds zero perfect, although it doesn't have spring release, it clicks and locks into side on top positions...

I have one of these and it refuses to hold zero on my holo sight, even in your vid I see the L3 is looking high into your EOTech, you did mention that there is a pitch ajustment? where is this? near as i can tell the front screw on the right side adjusts windage, the back screw on the left side adjust nothing, and there aren't any other adjustment points that I see? am i just missing something? thanks for any help, nice review.

@blondbrothers most all red dot or holo replicas ghost when filmed, the actual sight has zero ghosting, it is a camera effect is all if that answers your question.
