  • Eew ohmygod old 1990 computers x.x

  • @KRIGaming ...with the Amiga being the first one on the list out of the "three major platforms"...

  • omg... ----> macromedia ---> adobe director

  • it's funny to see the same nasa guy 22 years later on discoverychannel

  • A Fox employ hacking personal and sensitive info. Where have I heard that one before?

  • The funny part I remember this show from the public TV channel. This show was awesome. It is prolly one the reasons why I got into the IT field.

  • people were editing with 8 mb of ram. and I can't render a simple image with 8 gb ddr 3 1333 ram :)))

  • @detestosu You can't?!? something is seriously wrong with your computer!

  • @JoeyJoeJoe5000 it was a form of saying. it takes lots of time because of the radiosity, shade softener , alising... so on..

  • @detestosu Windows maybe ??

  • @detestosu Get a MAC and you'll do it with 512mb

  • Is that a pre 3.1 version of Windows? It looks pretty good, similar to UNIX-type GUI's. I generally don't like Windows (I am honestly sick of it...) but the look and feel of the Windows version on this video is much to my taste. Very nice.

  • The ugly cow woman co-host is utterly uninformed... It's amazing how little 'experts' actually had to know about computers in the 80s and very early 90s.

  • @111olbap it's no different today

  • How, how far we have gone. I wonder how our computers will be like 20 years from now.

  • YES! The Compaq Deskpro 386/25e for $6,500! (at 23:40)

  • 50 to 80 thousand dollars for an editing studio? And I though 100 dollars for mine was outrageous!

  • Okay, this is odd, why is ‘desktop’ so significant here? Quantel was already doing this (and much more) in the late 1970s/early 1980s.

  • @eMGeeGFX $1500 ...

  • @goingwithzed. yes (I got *that*), but it's nowhere near useful or commercially viable in that form. The thing I meant was, that it was touted as new. Quantel was also computerized, though it was integrated to a point that it barely resembled an ‘ordinary’ computer (or PC, rather).

  • Lucky we have already Window movie maker.

You can edited many video like your HD cam recorder

and animation like Anime. If you watch

Hayate and One piece from Toei animation

i think they use windows movie maker

or adobe edited. Not only that they did some

Sentai series using adobe edited and adobe affect.

Not only that they using for the Chino dramas

like movie maker and Adobe edited. And

it for movies like here in the Philippines

  • For those in the Philippines. Do not

watch any Bad Mexico dramas. Just

watch this video so you can learn more.

  • If you watch this you going to learn

anything to a director. Who knows

you going to make movies like Japan movies

  • @hilarioph Your English is garbage.

  • @111olbap I agree, let's beat the hell out of his/her head.

  • Wow, Macromind, the great grandaddy of flash,

  • lol, they were editing feature films with Macs and all the PC could do was be an expensive TV set.

  • @gschjetne The version of Windows looks like Windows 386

You know, the one that is an enhanced version of Winodws 2.0

  • man that computer pwns mine

  • wooooow!! technology!!

  • lol

    I remember this from school.
