David Cockerell, who designed the Synthi HiFli, also designed a lot of Electro-Harmonix's original pedals - the first Small Stone, Electric Mistress, the Micro Synthesizer, and others, most of them based on parts of the HiFli circuit. What EHX pedal were you referring to?
So rare and unique......a bit complicated to use practically on stage, but nothing else sounds quite like it. Now you need the elusive GIZMOTRON!!! There are effects that make similar sounds, but the components in the Hi-Fli were top gun and hard to mimic with cheap stuff. A very nice piece of history....thanks for letting us hear it again!
sounds like a jazz organ

I had one about 1985-86. Sonically it was not as good as the ElectroHarmonix pedal that does most of the same things... but certainly rare.

@ZiggyZipgun1 The Microsynth by EH. A great pedal still! Not as cool looking as the HiFli, but it's cheaper!
