  • Bad Religion Could've Been Good Like This But They Got Too melodic

  • Hey! It's that song, Bad religion, by that band Bad Religion, from the album Bad Religion! I love this one.

  • @TheCrazynick23 nope, it's off of "fuck Armageddon this is hell"

  • @looshkin66 it was on their first EP, which was self titled

  • its astonishing how greg graffin went from that to what he is today.

  • has a similar rhythm wit skate babylon of adolescents LOL

  • PUNK!!

  • wow greg with 15, 16 years old awsome ! 5/5

  • Oh wow! BR back in the day, epic stuff :D

  • this is when they were raw, gone from punk to pop punk.hope they reverse the recent trend they have set themselves.

  • but you are indeed aware that they have aged over 20 years since back then? don't you think greg would make quite the fool of himself, were he, a phd whatever and past his 40s, to act and sing on stage like that?

don't get me wrong, i absolutely prefer their early stuff and didn't quite like as much what they released the past, say, 10 years. but i respect them for staying out there and on top despite those changes. this old shit brings back priceless memories, though...^^

  • wait did he just say "olivegarchy"

  • haha Olivegarchy :P, no, Oligarchy.

  • Or Oligarhy if your name is Glenn Beck.

  • PUNK ROCK.

  • bad religion!!! dang i grew up with this band i never missed a show and warped tour 2009 wow it made me realise that all the other bands sucked and they fucken rocked!!!

  • yeah!

  • Hahaha he wasn't Drunk, thats the way the song is supposed to be.

  • Wow, this really fits that post-Joy Division, post-Wire new wave punk era. :-) The evolution of this band is amazing.

  • Greg was still a virgin at that time. :D

  • I think the lead singer(forget his name) was drunk or just wanted to be loud. =]

  • BAD RELIGION !!!!!

  • Shoot, I never knew Bad Religion performed on the New Wave Theater show. To me, this was their best song ever.

  • Tell us what you really think about this song?

  • what do you mean lacking in skill? this isnt a symphony orchestra dumbass, they are really fucking skilled at punk music.

  • "Punk Rock Music is good music by bad musicians" As fat mike says : )

But in bad religions case i think they are truly talented and always will be

  • I'm Godwin Alexander and you're watching Rock After Dark.

  • LOL greg's looks kinda nerd.

  • nostalgia total... PORTUGAL

  • Hey help me to bring Bad Religion to the UK all you punk fans out there!

  • Greg looks like Sid Vicious :O

  • holy crap is that the same singer they still have now???

  • Of course. He's just much older now.

  • How old was he in 1980?

  • prolly 19 or 20

  • I think he's 45 now which would make him only 16 in 1980.

  • We were 16 at that time.

  • That's what I said.

  • Greg Graffin was born in 1964 so, as allfantasticimages says, he was 16 at the time. Awesome performance!

  • thats hilarious XD he sounds way better now too

  • FODAAAAA

  • the guy who introduces them was the host of new wave TV show back in the Hollywood area back in the early 80's

  • :) i would push your deadline from 85 to 93 , but the statement stays the same:x

  • why the fuck do you keep posting that on every bad religion video?

  • This was 10 years before I was born. I love Blink and Green Day, but I also love old school punk. I wish I was around for old Bad Religon, Blag Flag, Dead Kennedys, Social D, etc...

  • me too!!!

    tomy from argentina

  • lol it sounds like Greg was trying to speak clearly but he since he was going through puberty his voice kept cracking. Just trying find his grove I guess.

  • wow, greg is actually dressed like a...

    PUNKER

  • Don't you think he's talking about Greg Graffin?

  • dee dee dee

  • Who is that guy that introduces them?

  • This is one of my favourite Bad Religion songs and my favourite off How Could Hell Be Any Worse?

  • Hes so young, i can't believe these guys have been around for 25 years, thats crazy.

  • the guy in the beginning is hilarious

  • You=Retard

  • You=punker

    nuff said.

  • You are 4 months too late. :)

  • Yeah I know, I rarely log on here, just noticed that someone replied. Anyways, is there any news on them making a new album? I know Brett already had a few songs a couple of months ago.

  • Being honest, I have not heard.

  • I remember when this recording came out!

  • dioxxx me enkanta greg!!!

  • what a great band, i would like them even more if they were as energetic as this nowadays. they're probably the mellowest punk band out there, but then again, they're in their 40s...

  • Age doesn't mean shit. Have you ever seen Stiff Little Fingers play? They're all older than anyone in BR and they have more energy than most kids. BR, for all their songwriting talent and superb musicianship, just don't quite know how to put on a show to please the punk kids. That's why they still insist on plying fucking "Infected," even though it's one of the weakest of their slower songs. It's popular, and that's enough for 'em.

  • I agree with you song infected is shit, for me the best songs are modern day of catastrophist, leave mine to me and tested.

  • Not that I'm saying that they're sellouts, they're just a bit detached.

  • is this the only footage of jay z on drums with BR ?

  • i grew up in long beach im 42 now.this is real music.isaw them lots of times in 1982 1984

  • They sound like the Sex Pistos in this video.

Eles parecem os Sex Pistols tocando nesse vídeo.

  • probably more like the germs

  • they shoulda hung it up after suffer lp

  • Who`s the bass player? That cant be Jay Bentley..Paul Dedona perhaps?

  • its jay after the songs they did an interview were they named the members.

  • Ok..damm he looks really different..Although people do change over the years of course.Greg and Mr.Brett look the same; )

  • I like Bad Religion but that vocal sounds like shit xDD Btw-good song ;)

  • Shut up and die....

  • hey fuck you smacknickproductions. and i hope you get run over by a truck

  • hey fuck you smacknickproduction. i hope you get hit by a semi

  • ok but i thought they were pretty good live. hes a good singer

  • nice 80's stuff.Sounds just very very Oi punk.

  • lol thats the first time i see how they looked like in the 80's

  • 1980-1989 definetley. I have How could hell be any worse, the cd this song is on, and it is an amazing punk cd. One of their best

  • I would like to see slaves and oligarchy too... 1980-89 were their best years, i think...

  • I like that.........raw as fuck

  • is that greg graffin?

  • if you have seen the newer Bad Religion DVD, this show is in it with the rest of the songs and plus an interview from that crazy announcer. I think Bret even goes off on him during it!
