Homemade Corndogs

GREAT RECIPE!!! Had unexpected guests and just made these corn dogs. It took no more than 1/2 hour and was a big big hit. Had a delicate crunch to the corn dogs. I did not use sticks becauseof the size of my pan. They even rolled over on their own :). Five stars for this recipe.

I made corn dogs last night and they turned out great. I used your recipe but after the first batch I tweaked it. I added a bit more sugar, baking powder and cornmeal so I would have a sweeter and thicker batter. Turned out perfect for me. I used both Nathan's and Oscar Myer all beef dogs, next time I think I will find some that are low sodium.

Have you ever tasted Hebrew National??? They are the best Dogs ever they also come in lowfat and sodium trust me when you taste them your hooked!!!

Ohh is that an Emeril deep fryer? It looks just like mine so you didnt use the basket at all and it didnt stick to the heating element? Ohhh please show us how to do fries in the deep fryer, Mine always turn out floppy, I tried to pre cook them first a little but it didnt work. I dont know what I did wrong. Thanks
