hey i was just wondering is there a way to construct a golden spiral to where there are an infinite amount of them circling from one point in ALL possible directions?.....sorry if im explaining it poorly, but im not only talking about making a several golden spirals circle around a point 360 degrees, but do a 360 in EVERY possible direction and angle...i've thought about it and i would love to see how it looks, cause i have no idea how to make this stuff, so please try to make one!
''you are completely immersed in magic. I do not mean allegorical or apocryphal magic. I mean, straight up, in your face, honest to god magic. It is everywhere. It is in everything. The entire universe is manifested from it. All you need to do is look.''...NICE!
Erniemajor, I am not surprised that you chose my favorite sentiment in the entire article. I am not surprised because you can be depended upon to have that kind of perception. Thank you, my friend.
ohh and so that this all dimensional golden spiral doesn't look like a bunch of jumbled crap, it would help if for every 360 rotation on a point, u made it one color, and do that for every set of 360 rotations....i hope u have an idea of what im talking about, i don't know all these mathematical terms that well lol.
xxxslayerxxx666, this is one of those times when I curse YouTube space limitations. I will take up two response boxes on this so be sure to read them both. First, to see a sample configuration of the spiral geometry you describe, do the following: (1) Go to my Channel, (2) click on The Luminous Gardens of Lucious Pym video, (3) At exactly 7:50 elapsed time you will see one possible configuration of the object you imagine occupying the upper right quadrant of the screen.
For the video image, I froze this spiral system in the act of formation. If I had allowed it to calculate through to completion, it would have formed a stripped ball resembling a pumpkin. In fractal language, such a ball is called a Flexball. But remember this is only one configuration of the object you envision. And as you say, you may not know the math terms but your vivid imagination by far compensates for that. As I have said elsewhere, I like the way you think.
thanks, im gonna be taking some math classes at my community college this month, but that wasn't really what i was imagining, what u seemed to do was create the illusion of it twisting...but what would be crazy is if at the end of the spiral u made it do a full twist and start another golden spiral...and it would be insane if u could somehow create a wormhole effect connecting the center of both sides,so it would become a 4th dimensional golden spiral that seems to be flipping itself inside out.
but what i was imagining is what if u made the sunflower spiral and then make another one but at a slight tilt and have it weave through the other, and keep going through all the different angles, and each plane would weave into each other, and each plane would be of a different color, i hope u understand what im saying....and thanks for paying attention to my words, some people actually say "with a name like xxxslayerxxx666 anything u say is instantly obsolete in an intelligent conversation"
Historically, I generally (although not always) have. In this particular instance, if it is of interest, the music is Auguries of Innocence by Paul Schwartz, Track 6, from the album State of Grace.
Such an exuberant commentary, obliqueOS! I am pleased with all you see. I am particularly happy that you saw the light butterflies. I wasnt sure anyone would pick them out but you did. Ευχαριστώ τον φίλο μου για τα ευγενικά σας εξέταση.

I love the colors of these fractals. The slow transitions from the slide show and the music are also great matches.

Wow! you do speak greek!!! :)
If you only permit me...εξέταση---> you probably mean παρατήρηση (=comment, εξέταση= examination, inspection) or...do you mean inpection??? :)

A wonderful voyage through gurus, tribal chiefs, goddesses and worriors, savage animals and light butterflies...
Forms, colours and wonderful music! Thank you!
