do you agree that this camera is good for outdoor stuff wit hliek music in the background and not the best for liek quiet rooms or an environment that is quiet?? can u tell me what the last letters mean on the name of the camera like RUS? thank you
I agree it's great camera for parties or events. The picture is very good for HD content. The last letters RUS just means it's russian version I think. For U.S.A version, it has US at the end.
I don't notice any cracking from the audio but in a quiet room it has a minor constant background noise like a hum due to its sensitivity. But the slight hum mixed with voice it's hardly noticeable.
I put the song in the background. The original recording sound is just like any other camcorder; it is always better to use separate external sound mixer to get better sound & then combine it to video during edit (POST) since this camera doesn't have a plug-in for external mics. For birthdays and home videos I think the internal sound is exceptional especially with its wind filter. Often times, I think the onboard/internal mic from camera is too sensitive.

Yep the band footage was handheld with 16x optical zoom using Area focus which doesn't turn out so well. Once you set the focus & the second you zoom it refocuses itself like turning back to auto; i find it annoying.
How much storage does FULL HD (1080p) take up? 1hr = 12GB?

No, sorry a Fisheye lens cannot be mounted to this camera. The 16:9 widewcreen native feature is wide enough in my opinion.
