There is no 'max' to the points you can score. In 2008, your difficulty score (the value of your 10 most difficult elements + 2.5 for fulfilling requirements + connection bonus) was added to your execution score (which starts out of 10.0, and deductions are taken from there). Cheng Fei's difficulty score here was a 6.8, meaning the maximum she could score would be a 16.8.

yawn at romanian gymnasts. most of them are boring, gogean, amanar, milosovici etc. what they have is consistency. that's why they win medals. but are their gymnastics graceful? not really.

the truly graceful gymnasts are russians and chinese from the 90s.
