  • Why was Busy Bee there???? LMAO!!!

  • Hank didn't like this video.

  • master gee is a pimp

  • i heard they play this song like 3 times in one concert

  • wow wow wow..!!

  • Master Gee was well good xD

  • @AftComet

your dumb becuase this song came out in the late 70s and that song your talkin about came out in the 2000s so that song has absolutely nothing to do with this on

  • i swear part of this is on BoA - Love Bug feat. mflo

  • Where is Big Hank ? But Caz wrote his verse, so it was natural for him to rock it !

  • WOW! I'da never thought this would happen!

  • This doesn't sound like the original...

And what the hell is with the Bronx Cheers and the Holiday Inn?

So even the Sugarhill Gang is infected by today's bullshit style.

  • @AftComet Holiday inn is from 1952, this song is from 1979, so what the hell are you going on about today's bullshit style! you are a fucking idiot!

  • @shlongjohn

I'm talking about the "Holidae Inn" which is a shit song. I spelled it Holiday because that's the correct English way to write it,

    Kiss my ass.

  • EVERY SINGLE so-called RAPPER BETTER WATCH THIS VIDEO. This is where ALL OF YOU came from.

Recognize or get rolled over... Old School style, son.

  • @vincelavalle Actually rappers have been around before sugarhill gang. They were the first ones to go commercial.

    Recognize

  • CAZ!!!!!!

  • This video is Awesome. Any artist who writes a banger / a fuckin classic - under any circumstances - deserves closure. Peace Caz.. To all those who respect Hip Hop (Truly) Smile when they see this video.

  • their nothing now? Youre favorite rapper was a fan of these guys.

  • their nothing now :(

  • Copyright is one of those double-edged swords, the latter of which always gets ignored. Sure, someone is making money sampling a song you wrote, but don't tell me the sales of Good Times hasn't benefited from Rapper's Delight, especially after someone told the LD kids what the deal was - and since this whole thing was settled, how many compilation CDs featuring both songs have been released? Then again, gauging a benefit from jacking tunes is a bit hard to do - a good thing for some.

  • wait is that the original little dude, the light skinned dude took his place....

  • with out this and kurtis blow ,beastie boys, fearless four, anda hand full of others like 2 much hip.hop would not have been born so all these faggets like mims soulja boy d4L fat pimp (rack dadyy) fame we as fans need to say we don't need rap hip.hop lives and just so we all have an understandin mims does not at all rep what we new york real hip.hop call music he is a studio writer and writes what he feels at the time not what he's exp. and music is feelin and this is not felt he is not

  • I get that there's sampling involved in rap and the understandable rhyme lending, but was Hank drunk when they recorded Rapper's Delight? You'd think someone would have told him that ripping off someone's rhymes word for word and calling himself the C-A-S and the O-V-A..yeah, that might not be a good idea. But hey he worked at a pizza shop at one time, and what goes better with pizza than beer...a lot of beer....

  • look at these old ass men... respected but go home!

  • about time he got his props

  • Hank stole caz's rhymes. Caz should have been part of sugarhill gang all along, or least getting paid for his lyrics. he got ripped off big time.

  • Oh man please, whatever. He gave them up for free. Its a shame he didn't get credit but blame the heads at Sugarhill records

  • they it admit show up now it spread out it happen 1979 yes ofc lol now till 30 year it great i love it them they it is number one whoooooooo whoa whoooo yyooooo yooo yayayayayaa lol i love them number one by joe

  • actually grand master caz wrote rappers delight and they didnt pay him check out Emcee's delight by grand master caz

  • to daryl138:

Grand Master Caz wrote the rhymes. Big Bank Hank used Grand Master Caz's rhymes on the song "Rappers Delight" (artist: Sugar Hill Gang)..

  • I can't see Big Bank Hank up there with em...

Is there still any beef left between him and Caz ?

looks like he turned down the opportunity to rap with Caz on the same stage...

  • Thats how it should've been done!!!with the original author of his rhymes...Grand Master Caz

  • A yo nickelle!! LOL you see your father wonder mike , ya loOk a like!!! lol lol!!! LADY RO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • they patched it up after all this time...the circle complete!

    ...lol

  • I wouldn't call it patching things up! Big Bank Hank wasn't there and he's the one that stole the rhyme.

  • Historic moment in Hip Hop right there!

  • HOT!!!!! I Love the Original Sugarhill Gang!!!

  • Still as good as 1979
