It seems that even though the bible claims all these things and science has only affirmed it, the only thing standing in the way of them and salvation is their ignorance. But this of course doesn't discredit the great commission nonetheless. Keep up the good work and God Bless!

The truth, in the context I was speaking of, is the truth of the Word of God that has stood the test of time. Science and Education shouldn't lead to atheism, but rather a greater appreciation of what God has made. They conclude that all chemicals derive from Hydrogen. They conclude that stars formed as a result...

Atheism is just as much of a religion and/or belief system as any other on this world. And don't think for a second that when reason is attributed to thought, that the conclusion is that there isn't a God. Why don't you address any of the easily verified errors I've posted? Rather than making a political speech, pick up your Bible or a science book or SOMETHING and show me that the moon is a star or that the two accounts of creation are not mutually exclusive? Science and Education lead to the truth. If your god and the book about him were true, science would indeed lead us to him. As it is, science is leaving very few dark corners for god(s) to hide in. Religion requires ignorance.

(i.e. through a secular or Christian worldview) When it all comes down to it in fact, WORLDVIEW is all that matters. And as for the "two accounts of creation" Genesis one and two are not contradictory by any means. Why don't you read Job and find out all that God knew before modern science ever existed. God bless.
"Genesis one and two are not contradictory" Observe the sequence: Genesis chapter 1 Verse 21- God made the birds (day 5) V25- God made the wild animals (day 6) V27- God created man in his own image.. male and female he created them Now chapter 2 V7- God made man from the dust of the ground V9- God made trees V19- God made birds and ALL the beasts (same day!) V22- God made a woman from the man's rib It's a direct contradiction. They cannot both be true.
So what good was the bible if all this had to be discovered later?

People have been willingly ignorant of the truth
since at least the Bronze Age, when YHVH was invented\by a small tribe of ignorant desert nomads.
Education dissolves religion,
which is why atheism is rapidly outstripping ALL religions
where ever education is widespread.

Take a look around;
there is much more religious belief in the Third World than in the First World.
Much more among construction workers than among scientists.
Much more in trailer courts than i banker's neighbourhoods.
Education dissolves religion.
